“Timbaland’s protege”=Danja’s been making Timbs beats for the last 2-3 years for peanuts and now that labels won’t budget 70-100Gs a beat, Danja gets to do his own thing. In short:
Timb’s beat hoe has flown the coop!
(similarly, hence the hold up with Detox. Dre’s beat hoes ain’t bringin’ it like they used to.)
yeah, he came into his own w/in the past 2-3 yrs. Last year, I want to say he won some “top producer” recognition by…Billboard maybe?
He produced We takin Over n a few Timberlake singles(that were credited to Timbaland)
He also did ‘No Matter What’ – T.I. – which was something a little different for him.
I’m always curious how people “know” what he produced for Tim if it was credited to Tim.
This reminds me of how people say MJ punched Paxson in the face in practice, lol.
