With his son in the car. Unrestrained in the car seat. Maybe son was perturbed he didn’t make the All-Star team?
ESPN reports — A Scottsdale police officer first saw Richardson driving 67 mph in a 40 mph zone Sunday night and followed him, police said Monday. That’s when the officer clocked him at 90 mph in a 35 mph zone and pulled him over. The officer saw Richardson’s son in the back seat of the car and that he was not in a child seat. Richardson was arrested and charged with reckless driving, excessive speeding and failure to use a child seat. He was released from jail after a few hours.
1) The little chatbox on the top right-hand corner of H.E.R.’s site has provided me with some great gems over the last month or so. First, I was bumping Melo-X’s mixtape. Then I got slightly addicted to Theophilus London’s The Charming Mixtape. It’s a creative mix of soul, funk, futuristic vibes and the all-important ill lyricism. I’ve been listening to this guy for a while but I don’t know a damn thing about him. Thankfully, Theophilus stopped by for an interview with the one and only Emilio Sparks — which leads me to…
2) Thanks to majesty of Twitter, I started chopping it up with the homie Emilio about wrestling a few weeks back. We got so into the convo that he invited me to call in on his radio show (*plug* The Dego Show every Tuesday Night from 11-2 eastern time *plug*) Now Freshness is going to be Respected on the radio weekly as David D. will be representing TSS by calling in weekly to talk wrestling, Hip-Hop, comics and all the other things that make us desirable to the ladies. Click the link, add the show to your iTunes and radio streaming.

Anytime I start to feel a little remorse for Suge, all I have to do is think of Pac
It seems as if Suge got two-pieced…again. This time, it wasn’t a barber but a weed carrier for Akon. Unfortunately, I don’t care. It doesn’t have the same “wow!” factor. It’s like having another baby. Read the rest of this entry »
Vibe is still under observation, but the prognosis got a little better. The rumor of it folding proved to be false, but not unwarranted.
Vibe magazine is cutting its paid circulation 25%, reducing its frequency to ten issues a year from twelve and merging its print and digital editorial operations, all in the magazine industry’s latest response to the twin attacks by recession and new media.
But Vibe is also departing from the standard playbook by introducing a twice-a-year newsstand-only celebrity tabloid. It plans to increase the subscription price for its flagship. And it is avoiding layoffs by adopting a four-day workweek accompanied by 10% to 15% pay cuts for its employees. The new day off, at least to start, will be Friday, though some staffing will be organized to keep the office open five days a week.
In the grand scheme of things this is a pretty good deal, since it’s better to be proactive than reactive in situations like this. Read the rest of this entry »
Adidas’ TS Bounce Commander “Superman” for Dwight Howard versus Nike’s Foamposite Lite “Kryptonate” Nate Robinson PE
History shows that I’m 100% biased but you knew that. I’ll pretty much be damned if I wear three stripes or the vector; they’ll have to CuDi me. But even if I were to honestly set aside all biases & you were to ask which one of these I’d honestly flick with some shorts, white tee & a fitted, Nate’s all day.
