Khal over at rock the dub got the chance to rap with 6th Sense about his origins and technique in his craft.
6th Sense: I don’t rely too heavily on sampling. If I do sample, I’m sampling in a different fashion then most producers. But in the last two-three years since I really started getting serious into producing again, I’ve been able to combine all my musical training and studying into my music.

TWIT
With technology soon to replace the way us humans go to the bathroom, Twitter can be considered an acceptable form of interaction in the 2-0-0-9. Holler at 6th on his Twitter. He’ll talk back. Of course there’s the Notherground and his Myspace as well.
And there you have it. A full blown neuroanatomic journey through the flourishing career of 6th Sense.

Been rocking those instrumentals for a week. Between that 6th Sense beat tape & 14kt’s beats from the Buff1 album, I’m feeling in the mood to write some 16′s & I haven’t written a verse since ’01.
Yo…this is unrelated but does anyone @ TSS have contact info for whoever promotes/manages Blu and books him for shows?
The reason I’m asking is because here in Chicago at DePaul University I saw something by a greek organization on Facebook advertising a performance by Blu & Exile they put together as part of some dialogue on positivity in hip-hop on the DePaul campus next Friday, March 6th.
But other than the little blurb in the FaceBook event, there is no mention of this show anywhere else on the internets, I scoured far and wide.
I know Exile is supposed to be in Chicago all of that weekend doing 2 shows with DJ Day on the live MPC tip, but nothing on his MySpace or elsewhere indicates Blu is going to be there as well.
Same goes for Blu on his MySpace, doesn’t mention any shows until one at the end of March and nothing about Chicago.
So me thinks this greek organization is fronting when they say they’re going to have a live performance by Blu & Exile. I’m not trying to go to DePaul’s campus and sit through a BS forum on positivity in hip-hop if Blu isn’t even going to perform. That’s a conversation I don’t need to have at DePaul with a bunch of college students, that’s some shit if you’re going to discuss you should discuss with the people who are actually affected by the “negative” (such a bad label BTW, I like my ignant’ gully hood shit as much as everything else) images in hip-hop (i.e. youth etc).
But I digress, my point is, if anyone has contact info for his management/promoter/person who does the booking? I couldn’t find that info, so if you have it, and could send it to me (rosado_season@yahoo.com) or post it here in the comments it would be much appreciated so I can call/e-mail and see what’s the deal.
Thanks thanks mufuggas!! TSS IS MAJOR!!
