Terrorise the fans, like troops in Pakistan.
Swingin’ through your town like the neighborhood Spider-mannnn
did you know he doesn’t even embrace the name Inspectah Deck? like he uses it cause RZA or someone gave it to him but as far as he’s concerned he’s The Rebel INS.
fact.
I bomb atomically/Socrates philosophies and high prophecies/can’t define how I be droppin’ these
Deck was and still is my favourite Clan member, next to GhostFace of course.
Rebel INS comes from the Shaolin slum.
The isle he’s from is coming through with enough ninjas and enough guns.
Don’t talk the talk if you can’t walk the walk.
Phony ninjas get outlined in chalk.
He puts the needle to the groove…
He gets rude…
And he’s forced to fuck it up…
His style carries like a pickup truck.
Across the clear blue yonder, sea to shining sea.
He slams tracks like quarterback sacks from L.T.
The MC Ren of Wu-Tang.
Roughneck Inspector Deck is on the set; The Rebel…
He makes more noise than heavy metal.
Co-sign on One Eyed Dear drawing a parallel between INS & Ren.
My bad, Cipher Equality Divine…Deer, not Dear.
Y’all know what would be ill? Somebody ought to blend an Inspectah Deck acapella with the instrumental to KiD CuDi’s “Day ‘n’ Nite”

and which verse did you have in mind?
^ ummm…he raps mostly to high bpms, so maybe an underlay with, say, Baltimore House, lol…I heard a Baltimore House blend of Day ‘n’ Night late last night, and I’ve also heard an Inspectah Deck & B’More House blend…but that would be too much, maybe…
@ Teef: Stellar idea there Sir Teef, I think I’ll try it today. Too bad I don’t have any B’More House beats. I’ll have to improvise.
The MC Ren of Wu-Tang.

Great comparison. Deck was never charismatic enough to become a favorite, but lyrically, you always knew he was gonna come with it.
Wu-tang slang’ll leave ya headpiece hangin’.
During an interview once, the reporter straight out asked Rebel INS if he was jealous of Methodman because he appeared to be enjoying more success than INS. (Not a quote verbatim, but something along those lines was asked).
Rebel INS promptly replied of course not, and he was happy for Methodman and his successes.
It was kind of uncomfortable reading that, because that question came out nowhere, and I thought it was some what inappropriate to ask.
But kudos to the Rebel INS, he handled it tactfully and diplomatically.
OK, he might not have the charisma of Methodman, but he sure has some raw mic skills and with a decent beat behind him and an interesting song structure he can cold rock the spot, REC Room and Tru Master being prime examples.
Would love to see a full length album where the majority of the beats are handled by Exile and Pete Rock, think those are the realms where INS could really shine.
Teef - I was just curious b/c I’m not one of those who can hear blends & remixes. I found it interesting that you could.
MC Ren = Extremely underrated. The soundtrack to a troubling number of woman hating binges I go on…
Shoutout to Deck!
