Street Fididididam!!! I’m not a huge jewellery afficionado, but Fab’s white/yellow gold combinations are dope. I might have to get one at the Flea Market on layaway for this summer. Bling-bling moddah-suckaz!!!
ps: This is a public service announcement, the word “bling” is OFFICIALLY dead!!! One day at work this week, I overheard two middle-aged White ladies talking about the Oscars and what the stars were rocking on the red carpet. One of them said “Did you see the BLING that Anne Hathaway had on?”, to which the other lady said “I know! Her BLING was gorgeous.” I nearly choked on my lunch from laughter, but my laughter soon turned to an SMH moment. Another slang dead form exorbitant misuse.

“Security had been harassing people all night. You know me I’m always staying in one spot the whole night, in the back corner somewhere. So, it’s the end of the club and I see my guys staying there, waiting to take a picture with Meagan Good. One friend in particular, was singled out of the group and harassed by the security guards in question. Club staff, promoters and other friends came over to investigate.
While the person in question was trying to explain the situation, security came over to the group shouting that this patron had an attitude problem and bum-rushed him out of the club; using excessive force. The person in question offered no physical resistance.
So, now I turn to go see what’s going on and from behind, security grabs me in a choke hold where they held me until I passed out. I mean I literally went blank. I wake up shaking, on the ground, inside the club, people are trying to help me up and saying “Dogg u got tazed.” I had been unconscious for about 10 seconds or so. Onlookers, including my friends begin to tell me that 3 security dudes had set upon me. One dude choking me, one dude holding my ankles and another dude came and tazed me. The part that really makes me mad is not the fact that they tazed me, but they tazed me in the throat, making me feel like they were trying to kill me. I was in genuine fear for my life.
I had been standing back in the farthest corner of the club all night, observing the security personnel using excessive force and harassing people for no reason all night long. What is club security doing with tazers? That’s not legal even for top flight. I did have the police called and I did file a report, so this will not be the last they hear from me on this one. I also heard a few other patrons got tazed as well. I saw them ruff up a camera dude, and punch his camera out of his hand, who I actually saw security escort into the club along with Meagan Good; the celebrity that hosted last night’s event.
Here’s a photo I took when I got back to my studio. I am on my way to my doctor this morning to have more photos taken and get treatment for my injuries. It should be noted that I had consumed absolutely no alcoholic beverages at last night’s events.”
