Here’s a new EP by Tunji & Toby, collectively known as Inverse, called So True. Perhaps the best way to describe the vibe is primarily on the smooth tip; thug aficionados need not apply. Guests spits include Substantial & Deacon from The CunninLynguists (Still love that group name) and production credits include Kno, also from CunninLynguists, Cook Classics, Decap Beats & Adam Berg. The Cali duo’s EP is a good addition to add to your laid-back, “light it up” playlist.

I grabbed this when it dropped a bit earlier this week just based on Tunj’s guest features, and the strength of Cook Classics previous productions. Wasn’t really disappointed, a solid EP. Faves: “Rise And Shine” and Sunnycalifornia pt. 2
