I can’t wait to check this out. All 3 are dope MC’s
half of these songs are from 2007. GET ME SOME ALBUMS ALREADY
U know I cant take all these webcam/internet rappers… they are clogging up the pipeline! skyzooo, sha stimuli, harlem’s cash, torae, donny goines, etc. are all internet rappers. email mc’s if you will.
The problem is the internet has allowed the kid in the basement with a computer & mic to become a rapper. Problem is… none of these dudes have what it takes to be noting more.
These guys arent stars. Yeah maybe they can piece together some bars and be called good rappers. but i go outside everyday and see the same thing. Where are the stars of the genre today?
You can rap a hundred million bars if you’d like…. for the genre to move forward and stay relevant, WE NEED STARS! RAP STARS, HIP-HOP STARS whatever you want to call it, artists with the complete package….
Rap/Hip-Hop needs more than Fat Beats Records to survive…
but these guys aint it… and never will be…
feel free to add your favorite internet rapper to the list of “those that will never get it off”
@ West Coast Biz:
I hear what your’re saying; but the Hip Hop stars of the past came from the same place as the Skyzoo’s, Torae’s, and etc.. The Underground. I don’t know if an of the MC’s on the 3 Kings mixtape are going to become commerucal mainstays; but I do know any star will come from the Underground.
@ West Coast: So tell us who’s next up then??? Drop some names my ninja. I agree to an extent but that’s what keeps the music going; new cats dropping material and the fans debating and touting who’s the next to “blow up” and who’s going to “flop”.
@ West Coast
I see what you’re saying about the abundance of rappers coming out but it’s always been that way. The only thing about the game that’s changed is “Everyone” is finally embracing the internet. I remember seeing Skyzoo on 106 and Park way back! Rap stars are created by machines aka major labels. It’s not just coincidental that you see (artist of your choice) on TV or you hear (artist of your choice) getting a thousand spins on the radio. It’s the politics of the game. But now even these majors cannot deny the new talent coming up. They no longer dictate who the next “star” is or will be. We do. We as in the general public. Now in terms of your artistry translating into dollars that is another story for another day. This is a new era and I aint talking bout a fitted cap – Cas Money
Hmm…some validity to what you’re saying but some of it’s off as well. I say that b/c it’s something i’ve been thinking about & noticing (post to come).
what those dudes you claim our outside your door lack is prolly what these cats have & that’s the ability to make themselves stand out from the crowd, even if it’s just a little. Not just in terms in music but moreso in terms of how they work the resources in front of them, connect w/the right people & make a name for themselves. You know, the things that stars do.
email mc’s if you will

LMAO!!!!!!!!!
Well put as well WC… even though comments like that understandly rub some people the wrong way.
I have no disagreement with you argument what so ever. Actually I think more fans need to adopt that way of thinking and start holding these artists who demand our attention and [money] to a higher standard and stop settling for “dope” or “bangin’.”
TC stands for: Tough Critic. lol!!! Damn man, who do you like???
Everybody.
I buy roughly 35 albums a year.
There’s just more garbage/mediocre than ever before. It shines through. Blinds people’s perception and makes them elevate mediocre ish to levels where it don’t need to be.
And you’re the first person to guess my initials. Props.
According to his many disgruntled women T.C stands for Tiny Cock
To the lovely ladies of the Bada Bing T.C stands for Tips Cheaply
To the midget that has to guard him in his rec ball league T.C stands for Tough Cover
LOL
@ Bigga: Your ass is about to get blacklisted and banned from TSS!!! lol!!!
@ TC: True dat, true dat my ninja. Still, not everything can be classic material. The glory days of great material all the time are over, the days of digging for diamonds amongst the worthless stones are upon us. Get your shovels boys.
@ TC that’s not that bad. Take in mind 35 is still a hell of a lot of albums. I’m mostly looking for anything that was stolen or lost right now. Remember the times where you looked forward to browsing for albums? When the artwork was just as important as the music? Now the thrill is gone. I miss Tuesdays.
