Event Reminder: BPL II Release Party Tomorrow

Prepping for The Smoking Section sponsored Illmind mixtape party, we just wanted to give you a sneak preview to a joint off of the mixtape as well as some other treats. The digital mixtape Blaps,Rhymes & Life II will be dropping in the next couple of days features Fortilive (pronounced For-The-Live) Illmind’s own crew with emcees Slo-Mo & Mushmouf. They recently put out the video for the single featured on BRL II called “The Come Up,” which you can check out here:
For the event going down in Dirty Jersey tomorrow, the producer team of Keelay & Zaire are the featured guest DJ’s who just dropped the Prelude to Drive EP. Released in anticipation for their upcoming album Riding High, the EP features cats like Supastition and Khizman. In addition, their video for the first single “The Times” has been getting burn on MTV & BET.

Also, Gotty, you inspired me to start my vinyl collection even though I don’t have a player yet. LOL. Your “Come Shop With Me” post was my motivation. I spent a large portion of the little Christmas bonus from my job on the following vinyl:
Seeing Sounds (Nerd), Carte Blanche (Phat Kat), First of All… (Shawn Jackson), The new Saadiq as well as Instant Vintage, Superfly (Curtis Mayfield), The Fix (Uncle Face). I also grabbed the Gang Related Soundtrack and that Lil’ Cease album for a dollar each. Its hard to find one spot that has everything I want though. I’ve been to about 5 spots in Atlanta so far and I still have a huge list of stuff I want to cop. I’m jealous about you finding that Here, My Dear. I’ve been looking for that.
I go to Amazon and look at that TEAC player that LC recommended like every other day. LOL.
