Sure the DPG team lost a lot of wind out of their steam since these days. But in my record books, Kurupt Young Gotti scorched all intended parties with this track, making it one of the better diss records Hip-Hop. It wasn’t overly lyrical causing the listener to make the “oooohhh!” face, even though Kurupt was deft with it: “Infected selected neglected ejected” & “You salamander-ass caterpillar-ass mothafucka, Fake-ass busta-ass fake killa mothafucka…”
But the shit was so…heartfelt.
“Motherfuck D, motherfuck M, Only X I know is Xzibit or RBX…”

I remember seeing Kurupt (HANDSOME) and Inga (BEEUTIFUL..her Big {TEEF} Smile is bigger than Mine) @ the Tunnel together…back when Outkast was still performing at places LIKE the Tunnel.

Kurupt was dope back then… I liked this track. “No Vaseline” it wasn’t but it got some dogs ears perked up like someone just opened a bag of Milk Bones. Speaking of Milkbone… What the fuck happened to that dude? HAHAHA. I got A.D.D. like a bitch… Sorry.
Dont care what anyone says, Kurupt called out all kinds of people and not one person said a thing, that right there alone is tellin me they knew they couldnt say shit cus the record is just that good.

We got a glimpse of him coming back with that Pete Rock track last year, but then i heard that hyphy DPG single and got discouraged again..
Come on man.. The West needs it’s legends to stop jumping on trends..

DPG needs to go fuck with some Fredwreck or some Soopafly production and their next album will actually make some waves again..

Streetz is also one of my favorite CDs. Every song is heat, covering all genres, and the bars are proper. I feel bad for the people that dont got this track on there tho, cause it was left of the reprints.
Like K1NG said, I miss Kurupt too. He’s smoked himself stupid. And based on the few radio leaks of The Blaqkout cd i just heard, he’s bringing my man Quik down with the ship.
