that’s almost as bad as jim jones saying biggie was our first obama… or when jeezy compared himself to dr. king (& jesus) a while back in XXL. as much as i like their music, niggaz need to keep certain names outta their mouths when they’re talking about trivial shit.

i agree with TC. kanye may alienate his fans. them louie shoes cost $600, they ain’t for us. nuthin’ wrong with making some high-end shit, but it’s a reccession, son. and like OED just said, people are gonna look for that new underdog.

ye may be a lil’ gassed now cuz all these euro mu’fuckas dig him & he has a different kinda fan base now. but what he fails to realize is that those faux fans made him a mega-star b’cuz of his ties to the urban community. regardless of anything, the streets… the hood… dictate what’s hip & what’s cool. if we ain’t like him at first, they wouldn’t have either. and once we start sayin he’s played out & co-sign a new nigga, so will they.

LOL this is awesome, I don’t really see the problem with this. I always thought the stunting side of kanye was the funniest and most ridiculous aspect of his raps, plus this vid is pretty funny…oh yeah and its true he does sound like the joker!!!

Now that I’m awake I can comment on this. I was telling TC he was on the verge of overexposure & he needed to fall back for a minute. Then 10 minutes later this pops up.

He needs to think long & hard what his next move is gonna be & I regret not touching on that in what I wrote.

this ain’t completely off base for dude…
he’s been ‘high maintenance’ ever since, but it seemed different then…
the Jesus thing we tended to dismiss because we liked the product he was delivering, but say he was pulling the same antics during that time period while making “wacker” material (if you like 808′s, whatever…just making a point)…

I think folks used to root for dude, but nobody (hardly anyone) likes the ‘sore winner’ type. It was one thing when he was on a come up, but when he gets all Marie Antoinette with it, on some “Let them eat cake” shenanigans, you start to look elsewhere for the new underdog…
