50 Cent – “Shut Ur Bloodclot Mouth” (Produced By DJ Premier)
AUDIO By Gotty™ on January 12, 2009 at 10:11 amAnother day, and yet another Curtis track. The ante is upped this time, as Premo provides a burst of energy causing Fif to shake the sluggish sound that’s plagued the other recent tracks.
In an aside, I’d like to offer the following tidbits of advice to Interscope, Shady & Aftermath…
1. Lose the late 90’s marketing techniques.
The vernacular spelling of “your” is tacky. Plus, the last promo of individual artists as a collective that mattered was Def Jam’s “Month Of The Man” with Meth & Red. Futhermore…
2. Stop trying to lead with 50.
It’s obvious that for most fans, or least the more discerning people over the age of seventeen, that Curtis is not the “in” thing any more. Call it hate but it’s actually displeasure with the lethargic tracks he’s been releasing. Couple that with his complete overexposure the past few years & I’d assume not too many (aside from TC) are anticipating another retail album from Fif. However…
3. You don’t have to sell us on a full length studio release from Dre or Em.
Fans have already been waiting since…oh, the past five years or so. I know you’re pissed about the leak, but at least it got the pumps primed & people talking about what we do want to hear — Dre’s latest studio concoctions & Em rappin’ like Rabbit.

Anticipating is such a strong word.
The only thing TC is anticpating more is the weekly verbal beatdown he delivers to Hater Chris.
This shit is crack. Premo is the best hands down.
Nas need this type of heat. Preemo said Nas should get the original production team to rock with him again. 50 wildin again.
If thats the promo poster its pretty damn hideous
It’s like a hip-hop poster for Village Of The Damed.
No one’s said anything about how (for lack of better word) nonsensical the title of this record is? What the fuck is a “bloodclot mouth”? Am I missing something?
This beat goes hard as shit however.
My brother called me from Jamaica and told me that this song is hot where he lives; anything 50 gets played heavy. Interesting title, what’s next??? “Pussy, go suck yuh modah!!!”
^LOL
The B-side will be Mapie gal gway!!!
lol
This was almost a home run. It needs another verse AND ESPECIALLY A SCRATCHED HOOK! What’s a preme track without one?
This ain’t on the album. Wonder if this is the track that Primo said 50 didn’t use for Curtis.
Too bad Primo’s beat & Fif’s flow both sound like their crusing on auto-pilot.
this song would be great if 50 wasn’t on it Maybe Jada or Fab will jack it for a Mixtape
Wow two whole verse from 50….yawn yawn yawn. The beat is fire but somebody needs to pull these fools(dre 50 and em) and let them know that they have to come waaay harder than this. If this is what I have to look forward to from shady/aftermath camp, maybe i should see if ja rule is still making records
I’m not gonna front…. i’ve been hoping that Fif would return to the old, hungry and grimy Fif, but with each leaked track the hope is fading…… FAST. At this point, I’m hoping that Fif drops first so it can be the appetizer (however sparse it may be) to the main courses of Em and the good Doc.
Co-sign with Gotty: I’m hoping for the return of B. Rabbit (check my resolutions from the Resolutions post for 2009).
I’m not worried about Dr. Dre not dropping heat…… game recognizes game
I swear to gawd I just about to light up whenl I saw “produced by DJ Premier.”
Fif is a$$ dookie on this waste of a good beat
off the subject Teyana Taylor got some tig ol bitties
“This was almost a home run. It needs another verse AND ESPECIALLY A SCRATCHED HOOK! What’s a premo track without one?”
co-sign.
50 did okay with this….though I think my affinity for anything produced by Premier is clouding my judgment…..
“Stop trying to lead with 50.”
Dude, it isn’t Interscope leaking the 50 tracks. It’s Curtis himself. He always floods the marketplace with freebees. Interscope is so skittish to release anything that he feels he needs to go the extra mile in promo himself or else he’s just going to get pushed back again.
