Another day, and yet another Curtis track. The ante is upped this time, as Premo provides a burst of energy causing Fif to shake the sluggish sound that’s plagued the other recent tracks.

In an aside, I’d like to offer the following tidbits of advice to Interscope, Shady & Aftermath…

1. Lose the late 90′s marketing techniques.

The vernacular spelling of “your” is tacky. Plus, the last promo of individual artists as a collective that mattered was Def Jam’s “Month Of The Man” with Meth & Red. Futhermore…

2. Stop trying to lead with 50.

It’s obvious that for most fans, or least the more discerning people over the age of seventeen, that Curtis is not the “in” thing any more. Call it hate but it’s actually displeasure with the lethargic tracks he’s been releasing. Couple that with his complete overexposure the past few years & I’d assume not too many (aside from TC) are anticipating another retail album from Fif. However…

3. You don’t have to sell us on a full length studio release from Dre or Em.

Fans have already been waiting since…oh, the past five years or so. I know you’re pissed about the leak, but at least it got the pumps primed & people talking about what we do want to hear — Dre’s latest studio concoctions & Em rappin’ like Rabbit.
