SNL has managed to sneak back into our consciousness this year, even to the point where it’s okay to ask somebody “Did you see __________ on Saturday Night Live this weekend?” thus admitting that you had nothing better to do on a Saturday night except to watch TV.
In the past few weeks, Hip-Hop has been in the house with performances by Luda (shoutouts to Jaycee!) and T.I. both taking the stage @ the house that Lorne Michaels’ built. And this week, Kanye took the stage performing “Heartless” & “Love Lockdown.”

i have to say i don’t really mind the 808 album, i mean i’ve bought and listened to worse; that said, i’m not a fan of the auto-tune, i think it’s run it’s course and will be happy to let it disappear and then re-emerge in ten years, but i think dude’s voice requires it..can he carry a tune?

“mad talented”…”genius”…wake up and get a clue. This guy is terrible. He can’t sing, he can’t dance, and his rap just keeps getting weaker. Even with voice effects, he sounded horrible. Stop pretending like this guy has talent.
You are blind if you think that performance on SNL was anything but pathetic. It was hard to watch…like a high school talent show. This guy no longer has any cred. He has run his course.

I watched him last night and he was horrible. Why he didn’t use the autotune effect is beyond me.
I appreciate his genius in the studio…but this shit sounds HORRIBLE live. He can’t sing. He sounds flat. He should just pull a Britney or a Janet and lip sync.

this guy is really trying hard to make himself a legend … but he’s no prince that’s for damn sure… does have skills and should find an alternate way to use them instead of trying to do something that is going to kill his solo career.
