Commemorating one of the most memorable moments in NBA history, the Adidas Forum Mid Houston Rockets features the final score from Game 5 of the 1986 Western Conference semi-finals, a game that featured the Rockets vs. the Lakers, embroidered in Red on the side of the sneaker. Flashback to 1986, at the end of game 5, with the score tied at 112, the Rockets’ Ralph Sampson hit a 12 footer at the buzzer to send the Rockets into the Finals. The laces also pay tribute to Sampson’s game winner with the writing “Houston upsets Lakers”. [K&C]

In terms of Adidas’ NBA thing, these are on par with the OG Knicks & Cavs joints. Clean lines, bold colors & good choice of materials with the nubuck uppers. Not bad @ all.

Be that as it may, I’m guessing Turk is somewhere pissed @ the details on the laces for these.
