Often, you’ll see me refer to tabi as “the other DMV representative,” only because I became aware of him & Wale @ around the same time. While Wale’s received a gracious hug from fans & media outlets, tabi’s reception has been slow. That may be starting to change, with him getting some well-earned pub via a “Show & Prove” feature in the Jan/Feb issue of XXL. As a gift to you, two more recent tracks to keep in rotation while we wait on dope, coming in January 2009.

i was diggin’ “put me in the pocket”, thought dude’s music was worth checkin’ for … we shall see.
“put me in the pocket” was my shit! and “let the beat rock” was nice too (though it sounded basically the same lol).
other than those 2 i wasn’t really feelin his album, but i’m still interested to hear what’s in store.
Not really a fan of the whole DMV movement. I think Wale is slightly above average, but not really deserving of all the hype he’s been getting. These two Tabi joints are cool though. Anyone have links to the LP?
