Now this is a trend that’s getting tired to me. MC’s with no connection to Dilla, using his beats to make joints, hoping Dilla fans will check it out just because. Exploitive like a mugg. I hope Ms. Yancey is seeing some checks.
I liked Charles Hamilton’s “And Then They Played Dilla” but I stillr recdognize it for what it was.
