This time around, “Featuring Drag-On,” a collection of songs that Drag was either the featured artist or made an appearance on. And this is probably more detailed attention than he received during his whole tenure as a member of the Ruff Ryders camp.
I asked D.Sinclair™ to chime in, since he was a self-admitted Drag-On fan. His synopsis?
Drag-On was the Ruff Ryders’ little step cousin. Though, he was the weakest of rhymers out of the camp, he did manage to have decent lyrics occasionally. With Drag’s fire-based metaphors drowning all of his subject matter, he was known more for his features than any hot albums… pun intended.

I think I’m the only one in the world that actually PURCHASED that Amil cd smh. Sad part is I only bought it for ’4 Da Fam’, then again I was 12 lol
And I bought that Drag On cd as well. Opposite of H20, only songs I ever bumped was Spit These Bars and the single (Niggas Die 4 Me).
Drag was mad cool the couple times I met him. Real quiet cat, type you wouldn’t know was in the room, cept for the fact you had to pass the blunt to him. But I actually got to witness dude rip 8 MC’s in succession in front of the Apollo Theater on 125th, right around the time they were recording Vol. 1.. Classic battle, before the SMACK DVD’s & such. He was embarassing cats
Slept on in that G-dep way, where the dude is nice but after a lukewarm debut, never got any real light again.
And that Amil album is a landmark. Jay prolly smashed Sasha for the 1st time during the recording process.
Anybody in the DMV ever find a decent site for GO-GO music, help needed and appreciated…

Oh shit haven’t heard some of these in a minute! That Bust Ya Guns song was my shit!!!
Come on… Drag deserves better than the underhanded disses accompanying these tracks. He was a semi-mediocre rapper but was very good for a hot 16 here and there (kinda like Nature).
Also, you should have included a track he did with Beanie Sigel “The Hood” and his verse in Styles P’s “Good Times” remix (w/ Baby and Sheek) was also hot.
Oh, and what about Warren G’s “I Want it All”? An “ok” verse.
