Still waiting on that new album. With the hipster uprising happening, I’d think this would be the perfect climate for Cheeba & Suede to stage a comeback
@ Amp: True story– a couple years ago, a hipster friend of mine stumbled upon their first album and emailed me about this amazing new group, Camp Lo.

LOL @ Young_
Cats who were too young to be up on Uptown Saturday Night will be surprised @ how dope it is. A heavily slept on album that has withstood the test of time.Their slang game was ill too. Almost like they were speaking another language lol.

I would love for them to drop stuff in a more consistent manner.
Happy Holidays to all from the city formerly known as Chocolate City.

UpTown was bananas… i remember being in Chi back in like 2000… and if you hit any neo soul club or any spot with a lot of Asians the DJ would throw on Uptown and let it ride straight thru while he went outside to smoke and the whole place would go up. I mean up. for. grabs. like 4-alarm/armed-robbery up for grabs.
it was crazy to see.
Funky Budda Lounge… Red No 5… Blacknostaljack shut down whole city blocks on thursday nights and sunday nights…
And to think, Jay took their 2 best beats for Reasonable Doubt.
Not that we need another Jigga mash, but somebody some mix the lyrics from Reasonable with Camp lo’s beats and vice versa… I have a feeling the results would be beyond hot.
(Hmmmm…. Sounds like a job for jaycee.)

Slim Jim Jones' Kool-Aid
The original Feelin’ It had Ski and Geechi Suede on the vocals. Jigga stole Ski’s flow, but I like Jay’s version better. A remake featuring Jay, Suede, and Cheeba is long overdue. Jigga claims he could’ve had Luchini if he pressed for it. Who knows.
