Joe Budden, Royce Da 5′9″, Crooked I and Joell Ortiz - Onslaught
GENERAL By Gotty™ on November 2, 2008 at 7:44 pmApparently, these cats are going by the name Slaughterhouse. Whatever name they choose to call themselves, I say just keep dropping tracks. Link after the break.

Coulda come up with a better name for the crew. Still, an underground supergroup? I gotta wait & see what really comes of this.
P.S. I coulda done without Crooked I too.
Glad this leaked… now we can really see who has the best verse.
produced by frequency

================================
Truth be told… I didn’t think he was even on this track.
i don’t know who had the best verse but i know who came in last lol
Hot shit.
Nino Bless available for separate purchase.
^ LOL!
Yo, anyone else checked that Separate But Equal “Drama-free” edition? Definitely much more enjoyable than the original.
Track was fine without Crook IMO. That dude is bad luck. He’s the only one not to drop an album. That shit’s gonna rub off on the rest of them. lol
for a group of rappers like this, they need harder beats. this is some shit for lupe fiasco or common.
Gotdamn the Giants are SMASHING the Cowgirls…
phrequency !
the base on this track needs to crank WAY HARDER *PAUSE*, this beat feels like some pansy soft ish with these gritty verses over them… maybe its my speakers but they cant be that bad. this beat needs to go harder *PAUSE*
btw… Joell won
I think the beat was from Red Cafe & DJ Envy’s album. Royce has the standout 16 but it’s just great to hear cats attacking the track like this. Even Crooked. I’m not really a fan, but after a second listen, I gotta give props where props are due. Songs like these make me love hip-hop all over again.
Joell/Crooked
Royce
Joe
When’s the last time Joe got bodied on a posse cut? Step it up Joe (lol… shyt don’t even read right)!
i understand !
but joell doesn’t have an album too. just a street album !
and crooked i has enough tracks to create an album, u can choose the tracklist yourself …lol.
peace
yall trippin I think Crooked has the best verse then Royce joell and budden is a toss up who came better
but yea Joe needs to step his shit up on these tracks he ussually always has standout verses on posse cuts lmao at dude who said Nino Bless purchases sepratley
maybe this crew will be called : Da Slaughterhouse
Choose/suggest the name for this crew :
…”joe, royce, crook, joell” Are : ???
thx.
Joell & Crooked.
da punchlines joint
Loso,Banks,Jada and ?.. Juelz
needs also a track together !
nah!?
Ruck (sean p) ain’t the best punchliner ?
maybe the underground king of dat.
..
Joell & Crooked is cheating. There are no ties in Hip Hop lol!
Joell FTW.
Greums add cass in that punchline track
after second listen
its obvious crooked took it by far joell came nice but he had some wack lines to me crooked just came with str8 fire
Royce set the tone as the opener & was my OG pick, but Crooked’s 16 grows on me with each play.
*ties bib around neck and proceeds to eat words from 1st comment*
top ten best punchliners ?
dope track
Chock full of quotables, but my faves….
“We the Voltron crew, it’s whatever your folks want to, we turn this bitch into Socom 2″
“It’s J-O-E double what I never take
whoever feel they can give me 1st one, then set a date”
“Bentley Boy, no it’s not H to the Izzo
but I push buttons like Hov shoulda did Joe”
We need a full mixtape by these dudes ASAP.

has the/a same sample/thing
that “christina milan-say i ft jeezy”

thanks guys
t-pain is imo one of the most underrated producers. im only on the track with ciara but all the beats so far have been crazy.
Yo anybody got this:
Adam Tensta It’s a Tensta Thing
Crooked and Joell destroyed this track, we need a mixtape and or album from this group. Primo needs to sign them to his label and stop wasting beats on the NYgz.
@ chris- I may have to agree with you to some degree. however, I can only take autotune in small doses, so I have to pause the album and switch every 2 tracks or so.
here ya go

=====================================
Co-sizzle. He’s an underrated MC as well.
Wait! I agreed with Chris twice in one day?
The end is near….
P.S. Will Thr33 Ringz get a review? Is what T-Pain does even considered Hip Hop?

======================================================
I’d rather pigeonhole T-Pain into Rap/Hip-Hop than R&B, because if we call T-Pain an R&B artist then our ears are really messed up.
They should add Rhymefest and call it SlaughterHouse 5.
That “push buttons like Jay should’ve did” line was maddening.

THanks
Wow…Joe had the the worst verse or better yet the least ill verse. Crooked I did his thing. Notice that Nino Bless wasn’t on this one? He ain’t U God…at least they let Golden Arms AKA Lucky Hands maintain the fort. Nino’s leaving messages on the phone and he ain’t heard back from dudes since the “Slaughterhouse” session.
One.
^ lol, oh man, he’s gonna have to save face somehow for that
I won’t even rate by overall verses because they all did they thing, lets rate there stand out statements:
Royce: I’m the one really yo, I’m the gun spark like Omillio/ you a J Hood gun video/ funny
Budden: Treat comp like Richard Simmons, behind closed doors the boys going to man handle him/ nasty imagery
Crooked: Itching like a Syphilis dick, itching like the skin of a bitch addicted to drugs, just to hit you with slugs/ I did it because… i wanted to!, shoot you in the back of ya head, right in front of you/ god damn
Ortiz: It’s J-O-E, double what I never take/ whoever think they can give me my first one, then set a date/ I’ll be there like a young mike jack, Hip Hop prayed and god gave Pun right back/ nice way to close a verse
Crooked had the best standout line and imagery
Ortiz closed his verse the best
Royce had the funniest standout line
Budden had the second best imagery
With overall content, Ortiz took that though, then it was Crooked, Royce and Budden. Sorry jumpoff them boys man handled you/ eww
When I first listened this track i was like it’s just them rapping then I took the time and really listened there verses and I can see this project will be great as long as they get some good hooks going so the replay value gets higher.
just finally got around to listening to this…
1st listen: Joell & Crook
this track is better than the first one they rapped on together
I can give a fuck who had the best verse, they all came correct and I’m fucking happy that these dudes are making music together.
everyone was good but
royce
crooked
joe
joell
crooked close 2nd

Hmm, Masta Ace Incorporated circa 1993 all over again?
Next thing you know Paula Perry, Lord Digga, Masta Ace and Leschea will all be joining the recruitment drive also.
Strictly halal meat and halal beats.
some of you are crazy…Crooked kills this track
