No one want’s to be labeled a racist right?
With a new President elect headed into office, Jimmy Kimmel decided to do some field work on what is and what’s not up for discussion when making jokes on Obama. In this clip, he chops it up with some fellas at a local barber shop and hilarity ensued. His dancing, Carlton, Michelle’s Butt, his ears, pit bulls, Dr. Dre, CPT and Oprah all come up.
Kimmel kinda gets lost in the shuffle with Leno, Letterman, & O’Brien but he’s not too far behind them in terms of putting a quality show night after night.
Plus he always has good performances: Hip-Hop or not.

He’s fucking Sarah Silverman so he’s cool in my book.
Replace foreign aid with Kool Aid. LOL!
@ flea…they broke up a while ago, i believe.
kimmel’s dry sense of humor is quite good at times. at others, it can be annoying. this was one of the good times.
^ Nah, they got back together at Howard Stern’s wedding.
I think Kimmel’s show will pick up in ratings once Conan takes over the Tonight Show & Jimmy Fallon takes over Late Night. Dude has his moments but sometime that smug, too cool for the room demeanor gets to me. But I’d rather watch Kimmel over Leno any day of the week.
Late-night talkshows are wack these days. I liked Kimmel’s show when Snoop was his co-host for a brief while. Kimmel and Snoop had great comedic chemistry.
I watch Kimmel. His one-liners are great, and he always seems to have guests that I wanna see on the air.
It’s good to see him do his research before shooting himself in the foot.
I always thought Kimmel was pretty funny b/c of some of the other characters/actors he used.
and musical performances usually shit on the selection that other shows use.

I’ve been looking through old records and old SV lost Demos. I remembered I converted from cassette to mp3 a couple of unreleased hits from back in the day. You can get a taste from true vintage circa 1990′s SV, when we were all about characters, alter egos and acting on songs…the good old days. So to the people on this site you got to judge it in the right mind frame, think being original before other’s were rapping as characters, think pre-MF Doom era. So don’t listen with 2008 ears, think original and ahead of it’s time. Listen, like it or not, it was creative!

lmao @ pitbulls….
Kimmel’s annoying. Sarah Silverman’s a racist masquerading as a mediocre jerkwad of comic. Nobody’s put p with Silverman if she were a male, because standing flatfooted behind a mic and saying that mexicans stink and black folks are prone to crime with no twist, no story no sense of exaggeration is just weak hipster posing. and we’d smack any hipster comic for saying the same thing.
with all that said, Kimmel raised a half decent point:
What makes Obama funny other than he does fit the stereotypes of black men that we refuse to see as anything other than truth?
Obama’s articulate, he works hard, he’s smart, etc. In other words, he’s everything mainstream america tells black men they need to be. And his reward?
Dammit, why can’t he be more of a nigger so we can feel better about laughing at him?
Screw Kimmel. And screw all the weak-minded comics out there that can’t get past the fact that Black men aren’t walking punchlines.
Treat dude like bush, Clinton and all the other white politicians—wait for him to do something worthy of ridicule.
Then be clever enough to highlight that. You know… Comedy.
Got forbid we actually expect comedians to craft an effin’ joke these days based on something other than lazy thinking and overthetop assumptions.
This is same same ish we got mad at ComicView/DefComedyJam for—just standing up and throwing out tired-ass “you know, white people sho is funny!”
@ black conseco
I think maybe you missed the point of the whole skit. The way i heard it, Kimmel was highlighting the fact that soooooo much was made about Obama being black in the run-up to the elections that he extended it and made fun of it to emphasise how ridiculous it is as a point of focus.
The dry sense of humour could be taken literally, but from these British ears i would say he uses sarcasm and stereotypes to actually poke fun at those lazy commentators who can’t get passed the colour of his skin, rather than Obama himself. But then again i’m not a regular viewer of his show, i’m just going off of this post.
