Words by Matthew Mundy

While I usually like to spend some time with Khaled videos, letting their artistic merits marinate for days as I determine what type of scoring rubric I can use to properly assess their deep-rooted, urethra-constricting mediocrity, I give up.

I refuse. I just can’t do it anymore.

And this video, aside from looking like it was filmed by an epileptic Tony Scott, isn’t even that bad. Plus, the song bangs. But no. Until DJ Khaled stops grinding up on his rappers like a Palestinian Kirby Puckett in heat, all bug eyed and thick gutted and shit while they’re trying to rap, I’m done. I’ve thrown my pen in, I’ve tossed my keyboard in the closet, I’ve put my Haterade back in the fridge. I want split screens, Khaled gesticulating on one side, rapper rapping on other side, and nary a chest bump or awkward hand-waving half embrace between them. Unless he brings the green screen back.

Until then, though? Nope.
