Found in the inbox from that dude DJB, who keeps continually lacin’ all of us with these theme & artist-centered collections of Loosies. This time around, Messy Marv.
Gotty ™,
For a minute I’ve been in awe of the production of Messy Marv. “The Symphony” collabos/posse cuts left me with a want to throw up a take on Marv’s collabos. There’s a production level there I admire. A new school James Brown work ethic. Even when behind bars he regularly is always scheduled to release two + albums.
I imagine the man has a bed in the studio, a Crackberry that never stops chirping and a stash of uppers to maintain the pace. All in all, the man is an unbelievable indie earner.
Bay disdain needs to be shelved for this one. Select collabos from the past four years.

have you highlighted him before?
It’s already been 6 months since Usher dropped his hit track Lil Freak and I still enjoy it. The Stevie Wonder sample fits wonderfully with his passionate vocals and the horns mix well with Nicki Minaj’s hardcore rapping style. Even though Lil Freak didn’t do as well as OMG, Lil Freak is definitely the better song, probably the best one on the album.
