As the days gets shorter and the weekly amount of posts get longer: the line continues to blur between real life events and the entertainment world. As always the Crew was here to cover it all.

On the political front LC gave us all a view of how people think in the Midwest when the paved roads turn to dirt. Gotty looked Palin right in the eyes and said “Fuck You & Your Glasses” (but mainly your glasses). David D. sent out an open invitation to Aaron McGruder to drop by and give some political commentary. And who would have ever thought that our weekly dose of Keri would introduce the world to a last minute political force. So if you don’t feel comfortable voting for Obama/Biden or McCain/Palin I got three words for you: Ghostdini/Teeph ’08. Or maybe Keri/Darlene ’08 Go ahead and write one of those in if you were gonna vote for Nader, the results won’t change. I promise.

As the global economy continues to falter Contra dug deep in his gold-lined pockets and dropped $540 on some Adidas’. Diddy thought this was the perfect time to drop 20 mil on Enyce in his quest to remind everyone he’s remained successful without doing anything to actually benefit Hip-Hop music in quite some time. Too bad the two of them didn’t shoot Pras $19,000 for his studio bills and keep 7 On Your Side off his case. Busta even made world news with his Arab Money movement.

All that’s fine and dandy, but we all know the music is what stirs the coffee around here. And to that effect we had you covered as well.

We started off the week with some Sa-Ra and chopped it out about MJ when he was in his prime. Kanye dropped off one master(ed)piece and let us get a peek at another work in progress. Mos Def and Stat Quo emerged from extended hiatus’ and dropped off new material as well. Khalid chopped it with Raekwon on all things Wu, while TC got the scoop on The Death Of Adam with 88-Keys.

The Crew formed like Voltron once again to share our Entrance Music, while LC & Dave tried to analyze the quandary that is Erykah Badu. ?uestlove dropped by and told a few stories while Devin The Dude and Z-Ro were aiight for H-Town. Joe Scudda dropped off a welcome but unexpected Notable Quotable and Contra broke down the career of Evidence to a T. Pay attention Asher and this could be your fate one day if you keep working.

On a lighter note: Sesame Street Raps Vol. 3. Stuart Tanner.

On a serious note: R.I.P. Rudy Ray Moore
