This Is America.
AUDIO By LC Weber on October 23, 2008 at 11:05 am[insert unflappable disappointment]
This is white, Midwestern, God-fearing America. These are my brethren. I’m trying to remind myself that I don’t believe people are evil… but there’s a really deep-seeded rot festering on the ugly underbelly of our country, and it’s cancerous on the minds of the weak and impressionable.
It’s not God Bless America, it’s God have mercy on America. God forgive America. God save America from itself.
Forget Diddy and all them — this report is the only tipping point you’ll need to exercise your right to vote on Nov. 4.

Yee-HAW!
This is why you tread lightly if your not in the CCC cartel (Columbus, Cleveland, & sometimes Cincinnati)
I’d probably feel more embarrassed for those people if I thought we were one and the same…
Good thing we’re not. Morons.
^Sheeeit wasn’t one of those C’s where the cops were layin out cats a few years ago?
Reguardless of the fuckery this video portatrys, it made me smile knowing this:
http://blog.dispatch.com/politics/2008/10/obama_expands_ohio_lead_could.shtml
And yes, while in OHIO, only drive during the day if you’re not in one of the 3 C’s. Cedar Point is the only place to go besides those three places, anyways.
that would be cincinatti.
truthfully, you have to be careful in just about any part of rural America. I’m from Cleveland, lived in rural Florida for about 10 years and travelled all over the eastern portion of the states. Trust that racism and ignorance are still prevalent in our culture from the big cities to the small towns.
This country was built on the backs of black and other nonwhite folks, it’s awfully ironic that this country will have to be rebuilt on the backs of the descendants of those same people.
people are so ignorant they should be ashamed of themselves for so much of them convincing themselves that they against him because of his supposed Muslim back ground and his stride in abortion(I strongly disagree with) its mainly because he’s half black and they blind of the fact of the other 50% ethnicity under that skin. We are in some big trouble and I don’t think God is pleased with either side.
Man, I hate to say it, but I would be completely shocked if Obama not only wins, but is also not assassinated by one of these crazy crackas (no offense to the sane white folk here at TSS).
Seriously, these fools are out ot get him.
Nader/Gonzales 08!
These are YT’s that other YT’s DON’T want the world 2 know about.

This all I gotta say about rural Ohio:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gummo
But I still love white women though
Mmmm, vanilla is so tasty
^ but I love all shades and flavors
Speaking of white girls, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” was hella funny.
I’ve already done my part in making the world brown, lol
My beautiful little remix is so much better than the original version, lol
This is nothing new. You know we’re at a bad place and time when there isn’t a single thing you’re not in disbelief over. We (as blacks) have been saying the same thing about whites for the longest as well. Cracker this, anit-christ that. We’re all responsible for what’s going on in America. It’s time we look in the mirror and just do our part in not being a part of the nonsense. I made a comment the other week back stating that the problem in the world is that we don’t have God as the centerpiece of everything we do and goes on.. People were like “I keep religion and state” separate. Best believe that’s the wrong thing to do. God has to be included in everything we do or the world will only continue moving in the downward spiral it’s moving at. Forget vote or die… It’s Pray and live
“If we are ever to get reparations as a people, we black men must fuck all the white hoes we can. Every single, last, one of them. If there’s a white ho you can fuck and you’re not fucking her, you’re letting down the black community and slowing down our progress. That goes for the sistas too. They need to fuck these honkys, these chalies, fuck all these white men, get all they bread, fuck em, we’ll use the amazing black dick and they will use their powerful pussy and together we shall move towards reparations, we shall overcome” — some random old dude on the train who started talking to me for no reason.
@ Woodywood: With all due respect, religious fanaticism IS part of the problem. We need less God-infused politics and more people-infused politics. People use their God or religious beliefs to justify the inhumane, cruel, senseless policies and ways they act towards others, they take this word of God thing too far. At the end of the day, God is a man-made construction, and as men, and women, we need to realize that we created the image of, the idea of, the being that is “God” and start moving away from that discourse when interacting with each other, stop looking at each other through religious lenses and simply work with one another as humans. Nothing more, nothing less.
@ El Rosado

On a similar note, this shit cracks me up. I don’t think it will make much sense to anyone who hasn’t watched all 150 previous episodes, but take it for what it’s worth. Basically, Jake is the smart one Amir is the stupid one who thinks Jake is his best friend. They both work at College Humor.

less religion, more spirituality
I’m white and my favorite type of women are latinas…i think america is all gonna be brown 4 generations from now…these ignorant fucks aren’t gonna be here when my grandchildren’s grandchildren are voting for Tyrone Ortiz in 2143
Digg for rightiousness!
Dayton>>>The Nnati
This is the state to the NORTH of mine…I’d hate to see what backwudz Kentuckians have to say.
@El Rosado… No one stated to look at people through “religious lenses”.. Don’t get things confused. By looking at people throught these religious lenses we create separation which results in casting a particular group of people off. I never said that. I basically stated God needs to be included in whatever we do as people. I think by now the one thing we all can agree on is that you can’t put trust in man. Why do you think we’re going through so many problems now?? I’ll tell you why. Because of “people infused politics”. We can go on and on about this but I’ll just say that as long as we continue doing things “our” way things will never change. Then again, I guess my views don’t mean much to someone that views God as “man made construction”

my bad on the double entry… Anyway, it’s all good. I don’t look at any as less of a person for not believing in what I believe in…
lol @ Tyrone Ortiz
“Forget Diddy and all them — this report is the only tipping point you’ll need to exercise your right to vote on Nov. 4.”
Damn right I’ll be exercising my right to vote on Nov 4. Old man McCain has my vote!
and @ Tyrone Ortiz running in 2143….The New America, brown, and voting in odd years lol
I googled TYrone Ortiz, he already exists:

I was taught long ago, by both my black mom and dad, as well as by my first black studies teacher, that white people will fight, to the death, a black person with too much power — fear of a black dick runs deep.
It is a very real fear.. that lies dormant inside “certain” people until that perceived dominance is threatened. (I say perceived because, everyday, the population of brown grows at a rate much higher than that of white — they remain dominant now only because we allow them to by referring to ourselves as minorities). The energy(fear) that drives those people is… a force to be reckoned with. Instinctual.. like the fight for survival.
However this video is nothing new…. folks been sayin and thinkin shit like this for years… and to continuously be bombarded with you tubes of this bs makes it hard to function sometimes w/out feeling a paralyzing fear that Obama’s days will be numbered….
PS, i didn’t mean all white people. Sorry if I spoke too generally….
Yes some people at this rally and hundreds or thousands around the country represent a view of our country, and more importantly, humanity, that I find personally offensive, backward, and wrong. But at the same time, I feel that its a viewpoint that is shrinking…too slowly perhaps, but shrinking nonetheless.
At the same time, there is nothing we can really do but accept this as the way it is, realize that they get one vote for each one we do, and make an effort to sway those in the middle. To do this so that our society progresses a little bit further forward each year.
Its funny, but I do think the inevitable increase in mixed relationships will expedite the process. I know both me and Cami are trying to do our parts!
As for the Obama assassination fears, there are plenty of crazy people trying to assassinate the President at all times. I dont think he’d be at any bigger risk than past Presidents.
Of course if it were to happen…it’d be Civil War II.

@Woodywood: I understand and appreciate what you’re saying, don’t get it twisted, though we disagree I respect your views and your willingness to sensibly articulate what your feelings are. But, with that said, I think God, to a degree, has been involved in almost EVERYTHING this country has done, starting with the Revolutionary War. The principles of this country, the actions, the policies, to this very day, are shaped around christianity and prostentants ideology generally speaking. Those demoninations have played an influential role in shaping both the leaders of this country and the people on the ground level, who for one reason or another, believe in this country. God was included when they declared “all men created equal” — except for the slaves. God was included when the US took land from the indigenous peoples who lived here for centuries, sent them to boarding schools, and tried to “save” their “savage” souls by telling them English and being a Christian are the only ways, telling them to forget their own spirituality, their own language, beliefs, and customs, and buy into the American cultural conception of God. Look at damn near every major event in US history, the people who carried out those actions included God in their actions and all it has done is create problems. The list goes on, well women shouldn’t vote, why? Cause God doesn’t want them to. How about the exploitation of the carribbean, of Puerto Rico, of Cuba, of all of Latin America, of Guam, the Phillipines, Southeast Asia. All that was done with the intent of bringing them democracy, because that’s what God wants. Instead all it brought those areas was disaster, US-backed right wing military dictatorships, and local economies exploited by US corporations. In Puerto Rico, with all the forced sterilization of women on the island between the 50’s and 70’s, lead by Jonas Salk and the US government, they said they were doing God’s will than too. That God wanted the US to control the birth rates on the island. Look at the war in Iraq, hell the US Mideast actions in general have now come down to God vs. Allah. The war on drugs “God,” Capital Punishment “God,” Obama is not one of us he doesn’t believe in our “God” all these things have been done by people who said God was with them, God was in them, God was on their side, God talks to them and decreed they should carry out this action, God wants you to save the heathens, God wants you to worship them, etc etc, the entire history of this country, hell of most of this planet, to this very day, is infused with that logic and rationale and THAT’s a problem. It’s not THE problem because there is always more than one factor at stake when you examine macro and micro level relationships amongst people, but it mos def is a significantly contributing factor to the angst and anxiety.
Lastly, the reason I stated God was a man-made construction is simple. None of this “word of God” stuff across any religion has ever come from, been put to text, by the God him or herself. It’s always been man, writing the word of God. Thus, at least in my opinion, man created God. Man created God because Man needs to believe in a power or being higher than humanity, so they created this God idea as a means of accepting their own mortality while holding hope for something beyond the physical life. Man wants to believe you don’t just die and your corpse rots, but that your soul travels somewhere too. I could go on, but we disagree anyway lol.
What a country!
rofl @ tyrone ortiz. this video is very disappointing though.
hey landon, al jazeera already went to eastern KY…it’s pretty bad.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8J9laUNgL4
It’s funny I always try to “rep” Ohio until shit like this pops up…
“alJIZeera”?!!!
Yea, there’s no bias there.
with barack in charge, these people still exist, which is hard to swallow. change will not be easy in your country.
more worryingly your reserve bank system is still fucked up and the country is essentially ruled by rich cats. the power obama will gain will not be large.
Goddamn Rosado! You speak the truth!
Most of my family is religious, and they try to talk to me about god…..
I think once you reach a certain level of education, you learn that all that God mumbo jumbo is akin to Tribesmen doing raindances. It’s false, it was created by man to control other men. And to believe one religion you must believe all others are wrong.
Good point on the “Savages” I let some missionary cat have it the other day when he was bragging to some chicks about it. “Are you going to tame the “Savages” and save their poor souls from Damnation?!”
I think there is a reason the Amish pull their kids out of school at the 8th grade (They do however give them a choice, which is pretty cool)
The weak always need a crutch.
LC, you da man for posting this… The woman, i mean… You know what I meant! haha.
not to mention most of these so-called Christians are hypocrticial bigots…..
also……Most people are scared shitless by the thought of nothing happening when you die, hence the reason most ANY religion has belief in the after-life
WoW.
I support McCain, but I want to point out that these people are nothing like most of his supporters. There are sick, twisted individuals like these on both sides. Don’t judge an entire side based on something like this.
To El Rosado & Nunchuck - Y’all speakin some real shit right here.
People came to America for Freedom of Religion, I also have to think that means Freedom FROM Religion.
ignorant cracker ass crackers.
i live with these people in south alabama. man, the worst part is the intelligent republicans are convinced that fox news is telling them the truth. they have no idea they are being pushed one way, blind to the fact the party they have trusted since they were children has become a money spending, lobbyist loving politicians. it’s funny the disguise it at first “obama’s taxes are gonna take from us all,” “watch out when he gets into power,” and quickly it becomes “i’m tired of giving my money to welfare.” funny thing is half the people getting welfare are meth snorting, nascar watching, fingering their 2nd cousin, WHITE PEOPLE!!!! it is not even worth arguing.
This is scary more then anything. Im white, and I fully support Obama. But imagine if something were to happen to him, I wouldnt be able to seperate myself from these iggnorant biggots (no offense tc)..I could see a civil war sparkin off if Obama were to be assasinated, and these kinds of people are dumb enough to do it, its fuckin scary that people like this are allowed out of there houses much less allowed to vote.
Fuck Palin.Fuck McCain..
Obama 08 I cant wait to cast my vote!
You will find people like this all over the country and all over the world. Ignorant people who think that things that are different than themselves are against them. We all are taught (directly or indirectly) that the only people who have our best interests in mind are those like us and you can’t deny that. We all have to do our best to look past superficial and sometimes cultural differences.
Don’t let the 10 people that al Jazeera decided to show represent a state or a country or you’re falling into the similar trap of ignorance
“Fuck Amerikkka, still with the triple ‘K’”
