Thanks to Gruems and his insightful Soundscan commentary, and NO ONE ELSE, I’ve been informed of a new Z-Ro album, titled Crack.
I don’t usually go the acronym route, but SMH.
How does an artist who’s got twleve above-average albums and has been a major player in the Dirty for around ten years, fly completely under the radar at every major blog on the net? Did J Prince forget about his artists again? With a dufflebag full of ammunition, including flows, hooks and beats, Z-Ro the Crooked should be pushed as hard as any emcee on Rap-A-Lot. If not harder.
Now, the question is, who has actually heard the album? Is it really that hard like the title suggests? I already know it ain’t soft. I personally own five Z-Ro albums and while none of them are classic material, they all get burn after first listen, which says a lot.
Should I cop this one, too?
Someone, please, inform the informer. Let me know if my man Joesph McVey is coming back to the plate with the somber Houston trunk rattlers one more time.
I would imagine so, but hey, you’d think I would’ve heard about it by now.

Z-Ro on Scarfaces “Bitch Nigga” > *
I grabbed that ish early. My bad, G-Man.
Should you cop it? I dunno, can’t say. I’m biased, cause whatever Ro drops I’m jammin’.
all i know is that i, too, am lactose intolerant…so big ups to z-ro for consuming that Silk, yadig.
i, however, am more prone to consume that Lactaid.
clearly, i’m all about the tangents today…
Soy milk is the shit!
Man a new Z-ro album is a hard call. There is so much material on the market that its hard to tell whats new and whats just repackaged. Especially when its on Rap-a-lot. Them dudes are good for putting out some bullshit. You see they put out a Devin album the same day as landing gear? So I say all this to say, I won’t be wasting my time or Hardrive space till somebody else guinea pigs it.
That ABN chopped and Screwed just dropped a couple weeks back tho. Should should check for it if you havent already. Its better than the original.
Ghost playing old man ball and drankin that lactaid…you like 86 years old, homie? lol
“I know them jackers be out to get me dude
but like Bonecrusher, I’m neva scared, there’s a gangsta standin’ in my shoes
I’ma leave the dancin’ to y’all, keepin my back on the wall
Man, I’m so drunk, if I wasn’t a playa I’d probably fall”
G shit.
If you eff wit Z-Ro, you’ll dig the album. The production is better than his last couple of joints, & it’s surprisingly upbeat. Well, as upbeat as you can get coming from Z-Ro, the emo gangster.
YO homey BEWARE, that ain’t the link for my soundscan commentary …
but yeah that’s crack music !! indeed !!
even if my commentary ain’t here. peace

Vitamin D!
Never really liked Z-Ro. He was good for that hook on “Get Throwed.”

Nice album from the Mo City Don..
Rap A Lot doesn’t promote their artists.
This will never change.
^yeh..I copped Landing Gear, Not Hi-Life for that specific reason. And Crack is defintely a good buy if ur a fan or I suggest ABN’s It Is What It Is if ur new to the Z-Ro/Trae scene.

It’s Da Crack’s Recession !
Where’re some Blue Magic ?
Cop it!
Beware.
I am just like you. Z-Ro is a great rapper to me. But this new album was not touching any of his other projects. Let the truth be told/life of joseph w mcvey/i’m still livin>>>>>>>crack
I was dissapointed.
I don’t really blame it on Ro though…i think it’s got a lot to do with his label
3 cigs.
I got the album a coupla weeks back. i LOVE z-ro. my boy was listening to it and was like “this shit is awesome, can’t believe i never heard of this guy”…
I smh. this shit is not close to “still livin” or “let tha truth by told”. these cats need to get familiar. its still nice though. got some nice tracks on there. still above average.
but a classic, it ain’t.
Imagine Z-Ro on antidepressants.
This is the most upbeat, even commercial Z-Ro record yet. And this is a good thing (not a fan of the older stuff). Rap-A-Lot sits on everything, it seems…
i like made..album cant hold a candle to im still livin
First track (Crack) is as bouncy and happy as welcome back by mase. But its ill. Then halfway through the album his girl leaves him, and its back to the same old Z-ro. Check it out though, got a couple bangers on it.
