Awhile back I recalled the last time I was in The D, at a beat-maker showcase hosted by House Shoes. Now Detroit’s DJ has released the audio from the night — featuring Black Milk, 14KT, DJ Dez, Apollo Brown, Nick Speed, Danny Brown, Big Tone and, of course, Hennessey-laden color commentary from Shoes himself.

And with 14KT’s trip to NYC as Detroit’s representative for the Red Bull beat challenge on the horizon, here are a couple more tracks he leaked from his fast approaching freshman instrumental release, The Golden Hour. “Illustrious” is an uplifting close to the album and “Can We (Chill Again)” features Stones Throw artist Aloe Blacc, who does not appear on the album version of the song.

Enjoy!

M-Phazes is dope, so is Illmind.
Anybody heard of Mules, who’s also from the Gold Coast of Australia? Or N/A (No Alias) from L.A.? They’re hella dope too…Epidemmik from Maryland…so many fresh beatmakers all across the land…Exile is on some next shit though
if any TSSers are in Illinois, Shoes, Danny Brown, Blu, Mainframe, Exile, & Gaslamp Killer are going to be playing my house this Saturday in Galesburg. Hit me up if you’re interested in coming, should be a sick set.
& my bad, I know this was intended to be a Motor City post, but seeing as this was a producer showcase and all…they’re just a few names to stay on the lookout for
Teeph, you’re right with your second post, because no one in their fucking right mind gives a damn about Australian hip-hop. Put a sock in it.
pt.1 /pt.2 are the same file. oh wells.
Even so, high heels usually are not about functionality and ease – if what you wish are the sexiest, highest heels you can get and you simply don’t mind how impractical they are (you could cushion them using the latest gel pads to make them a bit more comfortable) then go for it – select the thinnest, highest (5 or 6 inch) heels with minimum strapping for a beautiful sexy appearance all summer, ideal to slip on with all your new summer outfits at the parties you may be going to this summer.
