I was just telling K1ng yesterday, Blu is fast becoming one of my favorite MCs. I’m talking of All Time, not just on some Right Now stuff. The man came out with three albums in a year; each sonically left of the last, all packed with flawless verses. Whether he’s new on the scene or not, you can’t deny that as a lyricist he probably has a better track record already than some of your favorites.
He recently went out to NYC to shoot flicks for XXL’s November issue of the hottest rappers coming up. This freestyle came out of that trip.

Without question dude is dope. Below The Heavens along with every other thing he’s put out stays in the rotation. What I can’t understand is why this cat doesn’t have the crazy buzz he should? Is it cause he’s from Cali? Whatever the reason, cats who be rapping better have this dude on they radar, cause when he blow it might get real ugly for some of those less talented.
