great post….this should come out on dvd with all the greats u.b. he did it right by starting with who Mike Jack’s momma called “The Master”
I have no idea why this beat gets hated on, shit knocks.
Aron.. The beat never really gets knocked on.. not that I have heard. It was the fact that the rest of that album was so piss-poor. What is worse is that beat was a very late addition to the mix which makes it even more amazing how bad Nas is at beat selection.
Props to Shaun Boothe for picking up the baton and running with it cause it is obvious that Nas wasn’t. I am a die hard Fan of Nas but I have to admit Kelis might be pulling a Yoko on his musical direction. And I generally like Kelis.
