Those two moments, along with numerous others in my life, stand out for making me get that warm feeling to my core as I know I’m hearing or seeing something special. T.I. and Ludacris now join that list with their collaboration on the upcoming Paper Trail.
“Wish You Would” was cool, but it seemed like they were feeling each other out as they traded big money verses. When I first heard “On Top Of The World,” my ears immediately perked up when I heard the intro. Although the perks of fame are still discussed, they delve a little deeper below the surface to speak on the positive effects that it’s had on them and those around them. The emotion and pride in their voice is evident as they run through their verses with T.I. playing straight man to Luda’s showman personality. B.o.B. gets to come along for the ride as he provides a chorus to match the joyous feel to the song. Thanks to Buck’s reluctance to drop the original version of “Stomp,” he can also say he’s the first person to share an “official” track with those two. Not bad for a newcomer.
P.S. – Can we get a new pic fellas?
