Lupe, Wale, and Kardi. It can only be a Greg Street exclusive.
Be sure to cop Greg Street’s Certified Worldwide on September 30th.
Kudos to the good folks at The Kaos Effect.

I like
I would say yes, and b/c of this I now also expect the album before the end of the year. Jay plays too much damned poker. lol
I like the remix…. pretty fresh.
That BP3 cover looks pretty official to me.
btw I’m copping that Greg Street fa sho. His other album that came out was FIYAH! I still bump the All I Know which had a verse from T.I.P. (the old T.I.) that wasn’t on the Field Mob album. Then you have the dope ass Luda, Erick Sermon (that’s right), and 8-Ball freestyles. Oh and I can’t forget 2 of the baddest UGK and Pastor Troy songs EVER! That album was a long player.
Nah thats an old promo shot from around the kingdom come time. The head gets cropped and used in photoshopped mixtape covers all the time
Correction: “is” a long player.
I remember when the cover for AG leaked right after he announced he was working on it. I think that was in Sept. of last year, and the album dropped at the beginning of Nov. Hova knows how to market himself, and hype his fans up. I’m the biggest Jigga stan of all time. So you know I’m geekin’ right now.
i think the cover looks good. shame, they should seek this guy out for the official.
yeah good cover, lol
but i think false, i hope real !
cuz i think i had deja vu this pic…
plus dope boys rmx
lool super kanye beat !!! right here !!! lol
During the 3rd annual Ozone Awards last night at George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX a fight broke out between Houston Emcees Mike Jones and Trae.
The fight broke out before the show even began and afterwards Trae was taken away by security and Mike Jones had to get minor medical treatment.
Mike Jones later returned with a bandage across his nose to present an award and he apologized to the audience for the pre-show fight and told Trae that “If you gonna get me, get me straight up.”
Mike Jones? Who?
Who’s song is Dope Boyz originally? Killer Mike has a Dope Boyz remix freestyle. Murdered it.
And the Jigga cover look legit. Can’t wait… Wasn’t expecting it. Now I’m looking forward to it. Should be deep like BP2, hopefully.
any good sites for movies, i can’t deal with torrents
artistic direction… soul, sample and sampled !
No.ID & Ye.W on BP3 beats’ board !!
Jay Hova Coming Back !

@ Darius
Lupe did a freestyle called Dope Boys awhile ago. It was over this beat, too. Greg Street deserves credit for making this into a dope song.
btw BP2 did some deep shit on it. A Dream, Meet the Parents, Some People Hate, Somehow Someway, All Around the World, Ballad for a Fallen Soldier & Bitches & Sisters were all on that album. Just sprinkled in w/ the Timbaland & radio joints. He could’ve really smashed the game if he just trimmed it down on that one.
Are Kobe And LeBron Serious About Playing In Europe ? … hahaha Mo Money, Mo Travels !
http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?videoId=3530030 … 50 millions.
Wwho will be the first rapper for a freestyle on the beat Dope Boys Fresh’s jay-zz !
They might need to make a part 2 to this. This joint is fresh 2 def. Jay-Z & CRS on remix pt. 2?
shit’s dope…nuff said.
Like I said earlier I’m sold.
Here’s another joint from the Greg Street album but it’s clean:
Greg Street feat. Cutty Cartel, Soulja Boy & Shawty Putt – Poppin’ On MySpace http://sharebee.com/3c81940a
p.s. Don’t knock it till you hear it. It’s over Sir Mix-A-Lot’s Posse On Broadway. Kinda the same idea he used w/ Dope Boyz Remix.
i think BP2 had enough joints to be a classic if he had put it out as 1 disc….
Thanks for the co–sign E.
You still looking for that Dirt McGirt?
btw that Poppin on MySpace was done by Polow Da Don.
Remember he tried to w/ BP2.1 or something like that. He threw on the Excuse Me Miss (La La La) joint off Bad Boys 2 for shits n giggles.
@E
yeah…see dis
Nas ft. the game – “huslter” [off HHID]
“classic like blueprint 2, illmatic” – the game’s verse.
shyt like dat … meditates.
peace yall.
Peace to Greums y’all.
Dj Toomp on BP3… i think, nah…
after No ID announce with kanye.. i see toomp on one beat.
Polow da don… i don’t think for him, me.
@TRU SCHOOL
yessir,
n’ street school is da hustle !
idk Greums. Me thinks Game means “Blueprint, too” as in also. Now I have to go back and listen to it.

^^^ shit’s hilarious
Toomp could be a part of BP3 since he and Kanye worked together so well on Graduation and he’s already worked w/ Jay. I don’t think they’re going to need anyone else if they have each other to bounce ideas off of.
btw I don’t think Polow should work w/ Jigga either (although Hero is my shit, so who knows). I just said he produced the song I upped earlier.
Thanks Sherm. I’ve been waiting on cdq of that for at least a year and a half. I was feeling it when I dl the live version.
I think this is the song Banner was referring to when he said he was producing at least 2 songs on Carter 3. It sounds like he gave his best beats away to Wayne. That Hall & Oates sample on Never Get It is tuff.
no doubt…here’s the noDJ version of “So Many Guns, I’mma Shoot One:”
http://www.zshare.net/audio/16938971cc8b8c34/
/\ Shit is mad short. I wonder who was supposed to guest on this. It’s almost a freestyle.
it’s been floating around the mixtape circuit the last couple weeks with annoying DJs screamin all over it…i think it’s just a lil freestyle
dgmw though. I’m not the biggest Weezy fan in the world. I do like when he has a nice beat and does some weird shit in the vein of I Feel Like Dying though.
Trae speaks on the fight with Mike Jones:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvvXIG008rk&eurl=http://hypexclusives.blogspot.com/
It’s kind of a guilty pleasure for me. Like eating some Entenmans shit when I’m trying to eat healthy. That rasberry strudel gets me everytime I go grocery shopping.
^^^ lol – yeah i think wayne’s like that for a lot of us hip-hop heads…dude can be silly as shit 80-90% of the time but sometimes he goes off and just spits some other level shit…

/\ check the sample of Hall & Oates’ Wait for Me. Shit is ignant.
Tru, I don’t like Polow. Dude is just okay. Toomp earned my respect with excellence and originality. Jigga will definately work with him. Considering he worked with Puff and co again on AG, that should be interesting on BP3. Puff may be a biter in his lyrics and beats, but dude produces well. *Look “Life After Death”, “Harlem World”, ect.
“They did not have the power to stop Louis Farakhan”
I’m Sooooooooooooooooooo Wavy !
ps: ain’t the “huslter” song… shit!

@ tru school
do u remember the game’s song ?
i can’t, me !
That’s funny Darius b/c you could say Polow produces well, too. He makes big epic records. Everyone wants to work w/ him and he switches it up constantly. If he ever made beats for Jim Crow like he does now they might still be signed.
@ Greums
You mean the song he had w/ Nas on Dr.’s Advocate? It’s called Why You Hate the Game.
that “Love in the Club” beat fiasco threw me a little bit about polow, but dude definitely makes some dope-ass beats…that whole Rich Boy debut album was bonkers and pretty much every beat he’s done has been at least palatable…even (dare i say) the garage band-sampled “love in this club”
i read lyrics and not.
but damnnnn…
@ True School:
im still lookin….have about 5k discs to sift thru…
i did find that Rocafella bonus disc that has the Beanie Siegel freestyle on it some people were talkin about last week….i just ripped it an im uppin it now…
@TRU
i mean too but i read in speed lyrics and no ish like dat…
wow i remember Get Ya Money Right !!!

Yo Greums. I remember that song. It was on a bunch of mixtapes before The Documentary came out. I think it’s legit, but I never really checked for it b/c Jay-Z’s verse is recycled. I think it’s off of a song on Vol. 3 or somewhere around that time period.
Thanks for not forgetting about it E, and thanks for upping that Vol. 2 bonus disk. That has to be oop. I remember that Things Groupies Say skit being some funny ass shit. The best thing on there has to be the Beans freestyle. He says “I ate a million dollars and shit out 4 millions quarters” or something like that in it. Whatever happened to DIDR? They were dope. I liked the song they had on SIW, too.
see…Gotty just told me the same thing about it being a bonus disc on Vol 2…i got mine backstage @ the hard knock life show from somebody in Jay’s entourage…
anybody holding Lupe’s The Cool or any fresh Rhymefest?
“Where Do I Goooo…..Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturdaaaaayyyyyy…” ha ha That song is the waviest.
Must be nice E. My boys went to that, but I had insufficient funds in high school. I had to wait until Vol. 2 dropped. One of the best days ever. Vol. 2 and Aquemini after school at the Circuit City on Fowler Ave. Used to be on Fowler at least. That’s what I love about Jay’s concerts. He always has someone giving some kind of promo or something away outside before the concert. I’ve gotten Allen Anthony promo’s and the S. Carter Mixtape that way, but not backstage. I wish. lol
That Rell joint was some schmoov ass shit. Dude really got the worst out of anyone at the Roc. He was on everything from SIW all the way up to BP2. Jay actually stole Somehow Someway from him, too. That whole time he was signed and never dropped an album. I believe it was called Medicine. It was always mentioned in the inserts that told you what was coming out.
@ Tru School, Fowler Ave in Tampa?
Yeah.
Damn, Large Pro looks like he’s back w/ a vengeance:
http://videos.onsmash.com/v/NkK8hR3cKVhFu46E
Still to this day I wish The Dynasty album was the Roc crew thing Jay had said it was going to be. I love that album, but it would have been nice to see the crew shine w/ Jay on every song. If they had done it that way every beat should have had that Cru Love/4 Da Fam sound. That sound was so regal. Sounds like He-Man flying on a huge eagle or something.
For real for real though. They wasted that 4 Da Fam song by putting it on Amil’s album (that album wasn’t bad though). Jay totally killed it w/ the first line ever about an American Express black card, and even showed his in the video. That’s one of my favorite posse songs ever to this day.
Does anyone ever know what happened to EZ Elpee. Dude came w/ it consistently and superbly every time. That Amil album had me thinking about him. He laced all the heavyweights and just bowed out.
i didnt kno ur from Tampa…me too man, we shud get up on a TSS hydro cipher sumtime…
http://corner.bigblueinteractive.com/index.php?mode=2&thread=298147
Sounds like a plan to me. I knew you said you were from Tampa before, and I live just north of there. I’m actually trying to get a job at Gaf Roofing on Nebraska right now, but as soon as I’m hired it’s on. I live in the country so you know I’m bringing some down home oskie woskie.

Three words to explain why Jay is a bad exec:
Christion. Ghetto Cyrano.
Whether it was ego, myopia, lack of funds or excess of stupidity, Jay screwed both cats from Christion, including Allen Anthony (Alright) not to mention Rell.
And like i say in every other post, dude boned Crisette Michele and not in a good way.
Something with Jay and talent scouting that just don’t mix.
He’s like Jordan with teh Wizards–dude wants to win so bad that he’ll draft bad talent or good talent then not let ‘em shine because he wants his ring so bad.
I don’t know if it had anything to even do w/ him. He’s said all along that when it came to the Roc he was just the talent and Dame & Biggs handled the business side of the operation. When Def Jam hired him to be president that was the knock on him. That he was a great artist, but had never had to deal w/ the business side of things. He even said himself it was a new challenge. He took it very seriously, but he is like the bad guy on Inspector Gadget when it comes to other artists. They know he’s there, but they never see his face. He was pretty hands on w/ Ne-Yo though. Even Bleek and they Young Guns said he was always coming through the studio to check out what they did. It’s like Method Man said. Even he was spoiled from having Lyor Cohen and Kevin Liles around to do everything. Today the artist has to be more hands on and take care of their business more than ever. Maybe that’s why Jay took the postion. So he could learn hands on how to really run a label, and now that he has one again he knows what mistakes not to make.
I seriously think all the artists that got screwed on Roc-A-Fella was directly b/c of Dame. He would sign all these acts and then he didn’t let them develop by putting out any albums. Any artist needs to show growth over their career, but R&B artists are a whole nother animal. That has to be the most fickle audience there is. The last real R&B artist came out and was successful was Robin Thicke. Even then it took months for his album to start selling b/c the public didn’t pick up on his records or videos right away. Pharrell tried to market him as a dance artist w/ the Weezy assisted records/videos. It wasn’t until he put out Lost Without You that he blew up, and even then it took radio and consumers a minute to catch on.
no doubt homie, lemme know when ur cleared to get blunted and we will burn 1 down TSS stilo.
That Spain team photo is absurd! I’ll take a whole bag of whatever they were smoking. lol
Fa sho. Should be around the end of the month.
@ Tres
U do know that Large Pro is out right?
I thought that was on his album. It was posted yesterday a couple times.
I’m coppin.
the BP3 cover sucks the z is lost
hindsight’s 20/20 but if DJ was gonna hire somebody to be the new Liles/Cohen, they’d have hired Dame and Biggs to do it, assuming Jay was just “the artist.”
I don’t know that anyone, myself included knows exactly what was going down at Roc in terms of A&R and exec decisions, but one thing’s for sure:
they screwed up entirely too much with entirely too many artists.
I think Kanye got hot in spite of not because of Roc. he was “just a producer”–it’s not like they were grooming him out the gate. They could’ve had Lupe for a bus pass but passed. And as others have said, Rell, etc.
I just think they’re bad talent evaluators who put all their eggs in Carter’s basket. I could be completely wrong tho.
Jay ain’t a good ceo
let me know who is a good ceo
…some success, some critical acclaims and flops !
4 y’all!! anybody is perfect AND the industry iz still and always a suprise ! greums says : “trust the buzz, but the game is on a movement, a wave
