88-Keys and Kanye West – “Stay Up (Viagra)”

I’m one of those that hopped on the 88-Keys train well into it’s journey. Though aware of his presence and buzz, he wasn’t on any of the many lists of artists to check for. Then a few weeks back a good friend pointed out that 88 was the man behind Blackstar’s lyrical opus “Thieves in the Night”, Joe Budden’s unreleased collab with Musiq Soulchild, “Cold World”, as well as a slew of other personal favorites. I doffed my hat duly, dusted off the man’s mixtapes and began to listen.
Needless to say, the hype is well deserved. His album snippets wowed those who peeped them, and now we finally have a single to hold on to in anticipation of it’s release.

thats one of those albums that i keep meaning to pick up (soon!) but never remember or see it under ten bucks…

This song is okay. Kanye’s verse is alright, but the beat gets annoying as hell after about a minute.
Production reminds me of old school Premier. You sold me on this keys dude, I’m definitely getting that mixtape.
