Over the past four years, Brooklyn Bodega has been instrumental in working the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. Along the way, we (as well as many of you) have been a part of it as well – watching it expand, the list of performers & offerings increase, and the festival as a whole grow beyond what anyone could have hoped.
With all of that in mind, we’ve teamed up with Brooklyn Bodega to present you with an opportunity to win.
There will be THREE winners total. TWO winners will be chosen to receive free gear from Mighty Healthy, plus ONE winner will receive the gear…PLUS two VIP tickets that get you backstage and a goodie bag.
How To Enter?
One of the most noteworthy names on the list of performers is the legendary Blastmaster, KRS-One.
– Pick your THREE favorite songs from KRS’s discography.
– Drop us an email at
The.Smoking.Section.Contests@gmail.com including the three songs that you chose.
– That’s it. You’re entered in to win.
At the end of the contest, someone will be in attendance for one of Hip-Hop’s best festivals. We’ll provide the tickets. You’ll have to cover your airfare.
The 4th Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival will kick off July 11th at the Masonic Temple in Fort Greene. For more info, the calendar of events & tickets, visit www.brooklynbodega.com/brooklynhiphopfestival

A day later there will be the biggest Hip-Hop Festival in Germany with acts like Jigga, Cube, Little Brother, Sean Price, D.I.T.C., Dead Prez etc.. I’ll be there & hope it’s gonna be as great as the last with Snoop, The Roots, Redman, eMC etc..
So at least I won’t be too disappointed to be in Brooklyn, even if the lineup sounds amazin’
