When my dude T hit me up the other day when this shit was going down so I’ve been waiting to post it.

The Skinny

– UNN is short for Urban News Network (site coming soon). “Get Involved” is a series of video vignettes where they’ll be showcasing rappers actively interacting with the hoods they claim to care about so dearly. (I’ve got a Luda clip in the stash somewhere that I’ll have to dig up).

– Mike referenced it in the radio interview we posted the yesterday, saying he was taking the ice cream truck to the hood to give away free ice cream. Hear the words, see the actions.

– On the same day, T.I. went to Bankhead (where was Lo?) to setup shop, doing a free picnic.

Overall, I’m vibin to what UNN is doing & it’s always good to see rappers showin’ love back to their original homes, no matter what the context or pretenses. Love is love. Respect due.
