who knows. personally i think obama likes the song. but odds are hes not gonna admit that while the cameras are on cause thatll just give him a bad name and ppl would be hatin on him n shit. he probly told luda he likes it when the cameras were off or sum shit and odds are he probly likes the lyrics too cuz that shits all true. bush is mentally handicap and mccain agrees with bush 98% of the time. hillary, idk bout her but shes stupid as hell like bush n mccain. I definitely understand why this has happened. Its kind of like the whole Batman thing. If anyone saw Dark Knight you know what i mean. Batman did all the dirty work but was considered a vigilantly, having taken the law into his own hands. This made him an outlaw… same damn thing, Luda, on the low, fucked around and helped Obama, but to appease, he has to damn near denounce the brother… Politics, this shit is more like a circus if you ask me.

The sad things is that people actually mistake Fox News for a fair, legitimate, and factually accurate news source. As irrelevant as this issue should be there will be people who will not vote for Obama because of stupid things like this (albeit they probably would not have voted for him anyways).

I understand everyone’s points, although I’m with OED on this. I think it was a mistake for his campaign to address this. How many times has Obama been mentioned in rap lyrics? I’m not counting but quite a number. How many people really would have heard this track before the statement? And after? Didn’t he just create a PR issue? Perhaps if the media found it themselves and he was asked for an opinion, then he should say something, otherwise I think it was him that shoulda shut the fuck up.

Shots at Luda? For speaking his mind? Freedom of speech, Hip-Hop? pfft.

This is my thing with all of this, Luda is LOOODA to us. We’re hip-hop fans. To some middle-aged couple he’s just a black dude in a movie besides the main character.
So Obama comes out and slams Luda for exercising his freedom of speech….OK, fine, but the danger of this is the fact that once you start entertaining this type of “non-news”, Obama will have to KEEP entertaining this type of “non-news”, and that’s going to ultimately distract him from presenting his real points to the American public.
