Happy to see “Throw It Up” on there. That song bangs hard in the whip.
*goes to listen to the rest of it*
awwwwwwww shimmy…been waitin on this one
always a good way to start a morning and a week, with a major artist mixtape.
^^^ no doubt
Thanks for this Gotty …
His Green lantern tape was realy dope too….
LUDA!!! Isn’t Luda originally from Chi-Town though??? I’ve always thought that he doesn’t sound that Southern; but he reps A-Town well. Dude has bars for days man.
I just Wiki’d Luda and it states that with the exception of his first album, he’s gone 2x or 3x platinum with each of his releases. I wonder how this new album will perform on the charts.
yeah luda’s probably the most consistant rapper in terms of sales…he’s dope as shit, too, imo…wasn’t really crazy about release therapy, but all his other albums have been 3.5 - 4.5 cigs imo…i don’t see any reason why he shouldn’t have similar success with the new joint, especially if he makes another groundbreaking video and a catchy-as-all-hell single (both of which he always seems to do)
w/o regard, somebody’s getting booted out the CD changer today for….
Looooda!!!!
(See, I like to start up my own rap beefs in the privacy of my own vehicle)
OED scores!!!…and as he turns upcourt, he points to Gottyâ„¢, thanking him for the assist…
He was born in the chi, moved to Champaign when his parents were doing grad work. After that he was A-Town bound.
@ OED: What you got on rotation my G??? Who’s getting the boot & frisbee treatment??? LOL!!!

@ Tres
What’s next an Ebay auction for some MIMS rhymes??
LOL!!!!
Rock The Bells was fucking amazing. If there’s one anywhere near you, you’ve gotta go see it.
I’ve been waiting for this mixtape, it’s bout time Drama and Luda did one.
Luda is a great example how marketing can blur people’s vision of what’s really real. When T.I. was the reigning “king”, Luda had him easily beat any every statistical category you could name for their tier of artists: albums, club singles, guest appearances, lyrical ability—-U name it. But he didn’t put himself out there like that and got ignored by the public perception, even when he moved units.
@ TC: Supa-cosign my ninja!!! Hearing people crowning T.I. the “King of the South” left me in a high state of consternation; I was like “are people that fucking easily manipulated???!!!”. T.I. is aiiigghhtt, in my opinion Luda is more fun and interesting to listen to.
Luda>>>T.I. (By a long-shot!!!)
@ Shail: Rock the Bells in Toronto was off the meat-rack too!!! Yo Gotty, I finally got those photos ready for you so check your inbox later today. It’s johngotty@gmail right???
very true, TC…. kinda like if Wayne says I’m the greatest rapper alive continuously, SOMEbody’s gonna believe his azz… Mind control…
***********************************************************
What up, Flea… you need to get at me w/ some flicks from Caribana this year, homey!!!
The OED changer’s looking like this at the moment…
Nas/Untitled
Killer Mike/IPATTG2
Murs/Sweet lord
Skillz/MDBackpack
Madvilliany 2
Dwele Sketches Of A Man (STILL in rotation)
subs: Zo and Tigallo, Reks, and that Hell Rell
Naw, I was never blindsided by T.I.
Luda was always my boy.
Luda outshines T on the lyrical tip but T has that “swagger” that everyone today seems to love. I’ve never been too big on either but I prefer T. No doubt Luda is lyrical, I’ve just never been able to digest him for long periods of time. It’s like he’ll come out with some heat, I’ll play it and not really care to listen to it anymore. Besides, you can’t start a “king of the south” without first bringing up Face, Bun or Ball &G. Face has always been the king of the south in my book
Flea, remember when Supernatural rapped about the Tribe Called Quest T-Shirt?
That was my homie who tossed him the shirt, I was right next to him front and center by the barricade.
Shit was bananas.
And if anyone has a sharabee or whatever of this.
Not everyone has a RS premium account.
Jus’ sayin’…
Flea - correct.
Luda is like Busta to me - I can only listen in doses, no matter how dope he is. The up & down tone of his voice & the way he enunciates his words is too much of a listening rollercoaster for me lol
@ T DOT
Get on that.
@ T-Dot: Yeah!!! That freestyle was dope as fuck!!! I was at the other side, right under the big-ass speaker going deaf for hiphop!!! lol!!!
as far as atl goes dre 3000 is the best mc and then luda and then maybe t.i. i can’t wait for 3000 to drop his solo
luda top 5 alive !
goes on ten..
nas, jay, busta, common, talib,..
ten sure.
^yo u forgot big boi n cee-lo
This shit right here nigga!!!
Aiyo, I can’t see Tip in the ranks with 3 Stacks, Face, Cee-Lo, or even Luda. If we talking about SWAG, I think Wayne, Jeezy, and Ross kind of overshadow the boy Tip. Besides, swagger seems like a trend in rap that is slowly fading away like Camron’s career.
Any chance of a non dj drama version( although i hate the way he calls himself a dj, I don’t really consider some one a dj when he just shouts shit all over records, the same with khaled ). Thanks in advance
@ T-Dot - not sure if ur still checkin 4 this but here ya go:

Thank you.
@TC
NEVER… … …EVERRRRRRRRRRRR (c) Chris Jericho
Good luck on finding a Drama mixtape without him on it. DJ’s can ruin a mixtape for real. So fucking annoying.
