Joe Budden – Who (Part 3) (Full)
AUDIO By Gotty™ on July 22, 2008 at 7:38 amPound for pound, line for line, nobody’s effin’ with Mouse.
Too many quotables but easily one of the most accurate songs this year. With roughly fifteen minutes of music, Joey’s trilogy said more than a whole two years of authorities & fans theorizing why on “Hip-Hop Is Dead.”
And for the archives…

aight that we got that out the system (neva again, lol), not too many muhfuckas want it with Joe. i’m bout to listen to the joint now, hope he mentions this Rick Ross shit lol…
guess we’re the only ones up this early Gotty, lol. after listening, i agree with you. even with no “c.o.” mentions there are way too many quotables. i approached homie outside of an event in NYC on that night he was supposed to be participating in a allhiphop.com battle and told him he was one of the best niggas doing it and kept it movin…
Joe (Bout Heinous…. Bud Hein…) ..Budden.
Well, I think it was b/c the song was in the can before all the info came out. He did spit a bar about “we puttin our faces on a chain” so you know who that is.
This dude worked in lines about female rappers that were so on point lol

Those that really keep it 100, will recognize but the masses will not catch even a 3rd of what he is saying. and the 3rd they get won’t mean shit.
Im frustrated from a long morning of work.. Bout to put this on repeat until it sinks in or I punch something.

It’s mostly cuz cats don’t even care to know what’s going on besides what they see on the idiot box i.e. Terrance and Rocsi beef lol.
The Who >>> 106 & Park Beef
Budden’s one of the few rappers who can hold my attention for 16 minutes without switching up the beat. Epic shit right here.
this song is some hip hop gospel right about now.
realest talk I’ve heard all year!
runner up
Gemstones-Free Chilly
3rd place
REKS – Say Goodnight
I sleep on Joe all the time tho, I feel bad cuz I know he’s a dope MC but just something bout him…….
JESUS…. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE POST FOR THE SAKE OF POSTING. WHY DOES IT MATTER IF YOUR POST IS FIRST SECONG OR THIRD? IF YOU DON’T HAVE SHIT TO SAY?
he’s probably the only rapper to come out with something so that I would sit here and listen to a sixteen-minute song.
crazy dope.
what up Chuck? never found the hd’s that got swiped and although i chalked it up then as a bad loss, it turns out that i had a back up drive at the crib plus i went out and bought the 1TB Time Capsule and 2 more 500GBdrives just to be on some “better safe than sorry” shit in the future. best believe i ain’t gettin caught slippin anywhere again…
heatrocks on the way…
This is one of the best if not the best song you are going to hear in todays rap game. This song reminds us all of what hip-hop used to be and what it was meant to do. Entertain and inspire minds. This record is pure hip-hop and pure fire. Shocking hip-hop back to life like the doctor do but no the one from “The Watcher 2″

wow, this is amazing. I prefer the full (1-3) version for the complete thought; the leaked pt’s overlap a bit too much. He really spells out everything anyone could claim “killed” hiphop.
Truth is, hiphop hasn’t died. It’s evolved quite a bit. Many, many subgenre’s now, but its all hiphop to me (i go for the more expansive definition and I’m not goin thru that arguement again here & now). There’s still alot of good music, alot more bad music. More music to listen to all together, more access to music. Yeah, it can be tedious to sift through sometimes to find the diamonds but they’re there. Fact is, your not gonna hear it on the radio anymore, well the po folks, like AM/FM normal radio. You have to subscribe to a satellite service to hear good music on the radio; kinda the route TV has gone. Otherwise, sift through on the net. The game definitely changed greatly. If the music industry would have embraced technology back in the napster days, I think they’d be sitting alot better. Now, they have a full bred piracy infastructure that they can’t begin to ever stop pfft specially with sueing all the fans. They’re lawsuits don’t even affect the infastructure, aiming at the wrong end of the heiarchy (sp?). Then there’s radio media giants, due to deregulation. Don’t forget iTunes, while they were a good innovator, its never good to have one big fish in the pond. I dunno, just my opinion.
Not many people can go 16 mins on target, same beat with the fierocity and reality spoken here.
