The Jordan brand has been bastardized a lot to me over the past few years….for me they have lost their luster.

the Jordan 1-5′s are dope IMO. but when you see every curb server and HS kid rockin a pair of spotless 3′s or 4′s you know them shits are fake…

Does anyone remember a few months back there was a post with some tight new era caps and someone posted a link for a site that had real nice fitted new eras the site was designed well and had close ups with all the hats the MLB ones were all sick colorways none of that corny pinwheel crap…anyone know????

I agree with NDiamonds on top of everyone having a pair now and them being played out.
A lot of the new J’s have been ugly as fuck to me, but, tons of people think they’re hot. This pair is sort of one of them, I’d have to see another color scheme to consider them.
That pair just aint for me..
^Agreed with Stat. It’s an almost there pair. A very close almost there. I just need to see it in a different light. It wouldnt take much to make me buy these..

And my thing with the J’s and Uptowns is: To stand out from the come-latelys and the “streetwear” dickriders, you just gotta have the freshest shit that the average cat can’t get at the Footlocker, a bootlegger or a regular retailer. You gotta be a step ahead of the game. It might mean importing some shit and spending some more cash, but if having your kick game proper is important to you, then you gotta do what you gotta do.
Jordan brand is wack as fuck, i hate how the retros only come in packs now, they put a fly sneaker with some lame shit cuz they know no1 will cop the lame pair if sold seperately. plus they are making all these awful colorways of 1s and 7s….and the fusions…plus the materials used now are so cheap compared to the olda shoes…
the major appeal of jordans used to be not everbody having em….thats long gone
