  G.O.O.D Music = New Rocafella.

  Both them labels have/had issues with putting out more than one artist at a time (see Kanye and Jayz). There’s no reason Big Sean, GLC, Really Doe, and even Fonsworth haven’t put out more mixtapes or albums by now. Shit is baffling to me.

  ..and don’t even let me get to bitching about how they dropped the ball on Consequence’s album.

  I aint sure how involved Kanye is on the daily or A+R w/his label, but he seems more concerned w/fanning his own flames of success than putting some energy into setting up his label’s artists so that they can score too.

  Son doing clothing, sneakers, blogging & bitching about his tour. I wonder how Doe, GLC & Sean feel when they peep that type of shit as opposed to their mat’l & projects being pushed?

  Remember when Fonzworth was on The Workout Plan remix?

  Remember when we was rockin’ “Disperse” last year?

  Remember “Really though, But Really Doe, yeah he next up…”?

  And I still rock Big Sean’s mixtape from time to time.

  Kanye. The tour’s done, stop secretly working on Jay’s new 4th QTR EP. And cultivate some G.O.O.D. stuff man.

  Give your homies the “Common” discount and get your label moving.

  Put in an honest effort before you drop your 4th masterpiece. Lock down a solid September, turn off the iPhone, and uplift your label like we all know you can.

  Put it this way…

  Manny doesn’t field well, but bats a boatload. Imagine if he changed his tune, got a little more in shape, got an extra step faster, and sharper on the field.

  Then added a gold glove. He wouldn’t just be great, he’d be one of the greatest. At least to me he would.

  But instead we dismiss all the antics and poor fielding as Manny being Manny.

  This guy (Big Sean) has potential. But if you (yes you Kanye) put him in the “in due time” bin (You’ve been there. So don’t front.) along with GLC, Really Doe, etc…

  I’ll dub it, Kanye being Kanye. Blogging, producing for major label rivals, appearing and helping established artists, and neglecting your peoples like The Section heads pointed out. It’s starting to not make sense, or dollars.

  You hurt your legacy.

  I’m sick of all the webvideos of all YOUR label’s peoples patiently waiting on the sidelines, just happy to be there, and happy to post the exclusive footage of you in someone elses video, or backstage at your tour. etc. etc.

  Imagine if you REALLY put an effort to elevate all your G.O.O.D. members to John Legend status.

  Imagine a G.O.O.D. tour, with you headlining and probably cleaning up all around in percentages…

  I’m not a label head, or an A&R. Just a fan, that’s why (I hope) my opinion might count.

  I hope you see this(highly unlikely) and it lights a fire under your ass.
