New Balance MT580J “Luggage Collection” which is inspired by “the varying colors and materials which one might find on carry-on items at your local international terminal.” I’m a fan of 580′s & obnoxiously creative colorways so these fit me fine.

btw…for anyone in the DMV…the Stussy store right next to Commonwealth lowered their prices on their NB 580′s last time I checked

All this time I haven’t been to the Stussy store yet. Even when I go to Commonwealth.
I wanted a tee from that Stussy store opening. I’ll have to dig thru Boney’s pics to find the one I liked.
I like the first ones & the purple joints. Wood on shoes for the other pair…enh, not so much.
NB’s = more comfortable than any shoe out period. Even Nike & that’s saying a lot coming from me. I hope Phil K. doesn’t get wind of me saying that.
That first pair will look mean with a sweatsuit this fall!
@ Estelle’s Grill-piece: NB’s over dunks???!!! Neva that!!! Air 1′s maybe but never dunks!!! They just look too cool not to wear man. I had a pair of NB’s once so I must agree that they are comfortable as a ma’fucka!!! I spotted Imani from the Pharcyde sporting a pair yesterday onstage at Rock The Bells.
@FLEA – How was there set? Im real tight with Fatlip and he wasnt too happy with the show when they were practicing.
i haven’t brought any new balance outside of the 992s.but the 580s in the first pic look kinda dope enough to change my whole outlook on NBs.

@ Turk: They were off the meat-rack!!! Very high energy and spontaneous set, they definitely moved the crowd. Even the cats who weren’t too familiar with their material had no choice but to move their up-tight asses!!! lol!!!
Who was uptight? And which show did you see? Chi or toronto?

@ something slight- it is MAD difficult to find parking when you go to Stussy/Cmonwealth…Metro is prolly the way to go
NB’s are crazy comfortable kicks, man. I got goofy wide dogs wit bunions so i gotta rock NBs… Started walking with a weight vest the other week. if the full metal jacket don’t kill me, i might be fit and trim by fall…

What weight vest are you rocking? How’s it going for you? I used to work out in one all the time back in the day, especially during football drills, but my ass is WAY out of shape and I’m trying to work on that. I’m looking into buying a new one, but not sure what model to go with.

I got one from Sears–it holds 20lbs in 2lb slab increminents. It was like $40. It’s made by Everlast–the boxing folks.
But i see a bunch of ‘em online from different places. Isome go as high as 100lbs of weight.It just depends on how much you wanna spend and how much you’re trying to lug around. Eastbay.com’s got some nice one’s but they’re kinda expensive imo.
in some ways you might be better off going directly to a sportmart or whatever outlet store is near you because the shipping costs for heavy stuff like this is kinda high.
