Timing is everything I guess.
I say that because I think that’s the reason why we’ll probably never get anything solid from Gist, not even an indy release. If memory serves me correct, he caught on with the Dips movement right around the time Cam started his sabbatical.
Either way, I swiped this from eskay a while ago & listen to it every few days because it sits on my desktop, unfiled @ this point. The Harlemite spits on the well-known opening crooning from the movie and it’s got that “South Bronx, South South Bronx” mixed into for a crude chorus.
I can’t even find the old posts we had about dude so…
^ Take that track.
And then, I just reupped some old shit. Enjoy.

^ This Cat named His self “Paully Peniz”…
Gist is dope…I copped Cam’s “Public Enemy #1″ and was like “Who the eff is this? Juelz replacement?” but I was surprised to see this Cat has more depth than most of the other Dips.
Co-sign to AmpGeez; Gist has depth but is sort of reluctant to reveal it around the Dips. His solo work is iller.
yo that’s not gist on public enemy #1, well at least flowin wit cam through out the cd. but the dude is nice though.
anybody knows what is the sample used on ‘The Bronx Song’?
