Lil Wayne: Behind Tha Carter III With Rhapsody
SMOKE BREAK By Gotty™ on June 11, 2008 at 6:43 pm
Last night, the homie shot me this feature interviewing most of Tha Carter III producers. I posted it in the review but I think it went unnoticed and it prolly shouldn’t have. So…
“A Milli” (produced by Bangladesh)
Bangladesh: This girl I produced for, Shanell, got it to him. But I never went to the lab with him. If I had my way, I would like it more. But I wasn’t around, so what he felt, he put on there. I just thought he would make more of a song out of it, honestly. He’s just rapping. If it was going on the mixtape, it’s cool, but not on no album or single. It’s saying “a milli.” He needs to pop about being a millionaire. He switched it up and tried to make it “ill.” If that was somebody else, it wouldn’t be on the radio. They just f*ck with Wayne regardless. That right there makes me like that sh*t, because it’s against the grain and it’s working. That sh*t’s no format. A n*gg* went in, freestyled, and that sh*t’s all over the radio. And it’s the hottest beat in hip-hop right now. Every time I turn on Rap City, they in the booth rapping to the beat. Busta Rhymes hit me not too long ago and said he did five verses to the beat and it “rebirthed him.” He was talking to me like I did this amazing reincarnation for him like, “I sound like a newborn baby!”
Well…the culprit responsible for all these damn “freestyles” and “remixes” lol.
Read the rest because there’s words from David Banner & the homie Maestro.

i know i recognized the “bangladesh” shot out at the beginning of “a millie” from 8ball & mjg’s “you don’t want drama”… whut other shyt has bangladesh produced???
I still dont get why everyone is sweating that beat so much. Other than trunk rattling appeal there ain’t much to it.
That D. Banner beat knocks more than “A Millie”.
Bangladesh is basically Shondre, the dude from DTP. He did all Luda’s beats on ‘Back For The First Time’, and then some. Hooked Ciara up too.
DOES ANYONE HAVE THE BONUS TRACKS TO AZ- THE FORMAT???

A former NASCAR official is suing the sanctioning body for $225 million for alleged racial and sexual harassment.
Mauricia Grant, who worked for the NASCAR Busch Series from 2005 through much of 2007, alleges she was fired two months after complaining of race and gender discrimination and harassment by series officials, including series director Joe Balash.
“(Grant’s) firing was because she was a black woman subjected to a different performance standard than her white male co-workers, and because she had complained of race and gender discrimination and harassment,” states the federal lawsuit, a copy of which was provided by Grant’s attorney.
Grant details several instances of alleged racial and sexual harassment in her complaint. Among those were that she was nicknamed “Nappy Headed Mo” by one official, was asked by Balash if her exercise program included “an urban obstacle course with a flat-screen TV on your back” and that other officials used racial slurs around her.
She alleges that co-workers asked her to expose her breasts to them and also had co-workers expose their genitals in two separate instances. She alleges she wasn’t the only minority official who was discriminated against and that her complaints were not dealt with.
Grant, who served as a technical inspector as well as a pit-road official, says she was bypassed for a more challenging and prestigious assignment from her job as an inspector because of race. Grant said she was rated as a 3.5 on a 1-5 scale in two employee evaluations before her firing. She was paid $30,000 a year.
NASCAR chairman Brian France said Wednesday he had seen a copy of the lawsuit.
“It’s inconsistent of our policies of our company and how we operate the sport,” France said. “The fact that it went on as she stated, Ms. Grant, for many months but never bothered to tell anyone at management what was going on — which is what our policy says — is very disappointing. We would have liked, if those types things were in fact going on, we would have loved to have done an investigation and a review of such an allegation. We’ll still do that because now that she has made these claims. …
“But she didn’t do that, and that’s what every employee at NASCAR is instructed to do if they think they are in a situation of discrimination or harassment or whatever it might be. But she just didn’t do that and in fact has now filed a lawsuit as a remedy to this problem. We’ll deal with that as well.”
France said the sanctioning body was not aware the suit was being initiated.
“I knew about it this week when the suit was filed, and again our policy is such that it’s very clear — we talk to employees all the time about making sure that their work environment is a good one,” France said. “If it’s not, if there’s any problems, they have a very clear path to get it solved. It’s just inconsistent with anything we would tolerate at NASCAR.”
NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston said the company would not address the specific allegations in the media.
“Personnel decisions are made based on factors such as performance and adherence to corporate policy,” Poston said Tuesday. “With regard to the specific case, NASCAR has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. We won’t get into specifics through the media, but we will address all claims fully and in detail in our response to the courts.”

The producers of “DontGetIt” are frauds…..
The track is a bad attempt at stealing a track that was produced in 2003 by a producer out of Virginia named Justice. It is funny to hear that they(the frauds) claimed that “Nobody else ever heard it”. Someone else produced it you lames. It has been heard and spit on by a female artist named Fyre, also out of VA. Just go to http://www.myspace.com/nobudgetnobeats to hear what it really sounds like. It is unfortunate that the industry is full of snakes, so to the original producer, congrats and to the two frauds, Rodnae & Mousa, get your weight up rookies..
