I’m a huge proponent of NOT buying the first of any gadget, at least not w/in the first 6 mos. I like to give manf. time to work out all the kinks & do redesigns and implement user-suggestions.
That said, as a cat who lives via my phone for email & this shit, it’s not my steez but I like some of the stuff they’re doing. I have played w/a few in sotres & from friends & the shit is slick. It’ll be cool to see what the newer one offers.
Unfortunately I’m still a fan of buying albums out of the store. It’s something about having that case and album art that makes me feel like more of a collector. I mean, I download all my joints for free anyway so going back and paying to download them again makes no sense. If an album is worth my money, i’ll drive my ass down to the nearest Best Buy and cop a hard copy. With that said, the new iPhone looks slick but for what I do musically the iPod is all I need. I fuxx with Sprint anyway!
Only thing really changed on this is the internet. You can use the 3G network, they also added wireless-N, instead of G, if you’re using the WiFi, and now you can play games. That’s it. So faster internet, and now you can wear down your phone faster playing lame, over-priced games. Way to go, Steve.
fuck the 2nd generation. you gonna bite your asses when finally the iphone shuffle is released. no display and all day calling random people.. thats the next big thing!

Fuck the i-phone and anything remotely Apple related!!! Over-hyped, over-priced garbage!!! One of my ninjas bought a Mac Book Air for almost $3,000, I was like “ma’fucka you’re crazy!!!”. I think Apple products are just all cosmetic and nothing technologically amazing; if you have the right marketing approach the sheep will by anything you sell to ‘em.

How much are data plans in the US? Just curious because up here in Canada we’re getting gouged the fuck out!!! That’s one of the reasons the i-phone took so long to get released over here; the assholes at Rogers Wireless (our ONLY gsm provider) didn’t want to provide unlimited data packages to customers. Plus, I heard that Apple requires wireless providers to give them a portion of all data plan revenues.

I’m not a fan of Windows. I had Windows for yrs and now I’ve had a Mac for yrs and will never go back to Windows. Apple products are aesthetically more appealing than others IMO BUT are also more user friendly and superior performace wise. I had my iBook G4 for 3 yrs and its never given me a problem.
Ppl are not buying Mac computers for looks alone and if u ever own one you might agree.

Word Flea, Apple’s strictly for cosmetic purposes. Their phones aren’t functional at all. That’s why the businesses who give their employees phones deal w/ Blackberry’s and Treo’s….
and oh yeah, FCUK Rogers Wireless… trust me, I got history w/ em. lol
I’m not a computer person, and I laugh at all these idiots who partake in Mac vs. PC, PS3 vs. Xbox360 type arguments, so there’s no fanboy ish going on here, I’m a PC and Mac owner and Mac shit is solid and if I was a big computer person, I’d probably switch all my machines to Mac. They are overpriced, though. That’s no question.
My lil brother has a Macbook and now that dude swears by everything made by Apple. The thing I like about Apple is they’re all about the customers, you can go in that Apple Store and get your computer fixed for the free. (first u gotta schedule an appointment tho)

That BlackBerry Bold will sh*t on the iPhone. 624 Mhz!!! That’s just the base speed. Fast a hell. The iPhone only has like 500Mhz. Maybe lower.
I like Mac stuff. There are just a little costly. They are the bomb for producing music and video, though.
Hol’ up, if you’re a music fan, as far as having a device that does it all, there’s nothin that can mess with the iPhone, period. I use my iPhone for an iPod more than anything else.
Also, the new one also cost $10 more a month. Don’t be fooled by the $199 price tag, cuz you gonna pay more per month, and the battery life & talk time will be less if you keep 3g turned on. I have my phone so I can talk on it…
The device is coo, but my 1st gen is STRAIGHT!!!

As far as computers go, I give it to Mac. They are a million times more stable, and with a couple of tweaks you can dual boot Leopard and XP. Mind you, I still rock my HP Pavilion, that’s only because I don’t want to change over right now…
…or I can’t afford it. Either or.
And Vista was a side project for Microsoft. When Windows 7 comes out, people are going to be super mad, one of the reasons why I dual boot XP and Vista.

I laugh when people talk about the “stability” and “reliability” of Mac computers. It’s pretty obvious why they don’t get viruses: THE MAJORITY OF THE WORLD USES FUCKIN’ PC!!! Have you seen any major businesses or government using Mac??? Me neither, so why would anyone bother to create viruses, spyware, malware, trojans or worms for a platform that isn’t as widely utilized. Fuck Mac and double-fuck Apple.
Crazy thing is, I just bought a Blackberry because the piece of shit phone that I had before broke…. I’m still getting an iPhone. At least an 8G.

@ Flea – I love people who hate on Apple. They don’t know it’s all about preference. I like what I like, you like what you like and at the end of the day, you’re not really gonna change anybody’s mind. The only thing that separates them now is the OS anyway, and I prefer OS X.
