“The Movement Moves On…”

As I’m listening to “Built This City,” I thought to my self, wasn’t there suppose to be a Killa Season part deux? Sigh, can we get a movement post going? I dont like how niggas just bypass the Dipset movement like..as if it didn’t even exist. 50 came and just..ugh.
I think I still got my Dipset tee with the eagle somewhere…size 5xl in all it’s splendor.

The Sean Bell incident was a senseless murder, but the verdict to the case was even more outrageous. Since then, an overflowing amount of people have given their support to the Bell family, helping out anyway they can. In light of this injustice,Junior , a close friend of Sean Bell and the other men involved in the incident, came to the owners of Fashion Hurtz to have them design something to the spread the word. They were more then willing to provide their support, designing this t-shirt and also be sending Sean Bell’s family 25% of the earnings they make. The tees have already been endorsed by Trent Benefield, who was shot by the cops as well, and some other friends of the Sean Bell. If you would like to purchase the shirt to express your support of Bell family, then pick up one today. Now Available at Fashion Hurtz’s Online Store.

I must say, the Dips did have a minor movement in this field called rap. That guy CUURRRRTIS shitted on the frontman and made the “Capo” fade back. DAYUM!!!
5XL???? ewwww….lol
that Harlem solidarity was something else, though…too bad it fizzled and fools went on dolo missions…same thing with the Hot Boys…Things Fall Apart
come to think of it…Fiddy IS a master of the art of war…fool goes for the jugular and goes STRAIGHT for the head of the snake (n/h x2)…he’s disassembled many a rap crew
^^^ only dipset really oh and of course Murda Inc
but was dipset really his doing
and he didnt hurt Jada, Fat Joe, or anyone else he went at
and honestly after Game G-Unit has been fiziling down
^ i think Fiddy gets in dude’s heads (n/h) to the point where they devote time & energy to going at Fif, so they lose momentum and end up fighting a losing battle…
…so if the crew ain’t dissolved, then they’ve at least had to pump their brakes and Fif stays in the lead
…as far as Joey Crack…? and Terror Squad..? Fat Joe has one foot in the grave….
but I digress…
I am appreciative of this Killa Cam post
muchos gracias
I’m a fan of Jim.
Say what he will though, when Cam left the scene, so did the Dips.
DIP DIP DIPSET!!! Dipset took a dive once Jim Jones and Byrd Gang took flight; now that Stack Bundlez (R.I.P.) passed on and Capo Jones is beefing with Max B the Byrd Gang is losing altitude as well. Where the fuck is Purple City??? The Senate??? Dipset Taliban??? Juelz Santana??? FUCK, WHERE’S KILLA CAM???!!! I hope that these guys can put aside their differences and just put out the music. Lord knows New York needs more than just G-Unit as the only movement holdin’ it down.
“Only two movements movin’ is The Unit and The Dips/and both parties respect my shit” – Stack Bundlez
dip-set, dip-set, dip…set, dip……set, dip………..set, dip…………………..set
@ Gotty: I like Capo too, but I miss Killa Cam damn it!!! He put out that fucking 2-disc mixtape then POOF!!! He went AWOL again!!! Ahhh well, at least Hell Rell has a new album coming soon.
does anyone know the dipset track with lyrics something like:
“to thetop
dont stop”
I think it has the whole crew and a real bangin beat. This is a terrible description but only part i can remember. I lost the track a while ago and never could find it again. I dont think it has cam on it.
G Unit = Best Buy
Dipset = that cool-ass Mom & Pop store
G Unit ain’t really NY to me…Dipset IS…or was
yo i just figured out some cool shit…if you try and go to one of those message board websites where you gotta be a member and it won’t let you see the page (to grab a link), just click the little jawn under the description (on google) that says “cached”…all the ones i tried it on let me bypass the password page and let me in the website…am i late on this or did i figure some shit out
^^^ ur late.
damn…well why didn’t anybody tell me this shit
What? No love for Ruger Rell in this post yet? Come on. I love Dipset. Fucking S.A.S. Eurogang, JR Writer…
@ Be Lund: Ruger Rell is my favourite DipSet artist! His debut album was dope, I still give it a run every now and then.
thank you sherm I didnt know that.
that duke da god harlem classics has been playin every since it leaked that shit is dope
gayyyyyyyyy

it’s like GZA’s fame, only with rappers names instead of other famous people…dope concept, dope song
(shout to 2dopeboyz)
dipset is whack as fuck.
i mean i got love for killa ,no homo (how ironic), but the only time i can listen to that shit is when i need a good laugh.
these dudes are not serious hip hop artists. period. there is no argument for that.
jim jones= top 5 dead or alive worst lyricists ever.
right up there with yayo.
and dont get it twisted. ny>everywhere else. hip hop wise.
yall got me hating. feelin like chris.
oh yeah and @ Teef – good look on that Guilty laink but it was the advance copy with the fucked-up beats…found a Retail grouprip for anybody that still needs it…

@DDMack: Hey man, the Dips may not be the best lyricists in the game but the movement is/was pretty impressive. I prefer their mixtape material mostly, even though I own a few albums from the individual artists (Hell Rell, Jim Jones, Killa Cam) as well.
Movement??? Maybe a few muscle twitches…
they did have quite a following.
and ill give cam a pass
but jimmy? never.
curren$y – welcome to the winner’s circle

shit goes hard.
@ IllMusician: The Dips did have a movement man, it’s undeniable. They basically did what 50 did with the mixtape circuit and parlayed it into something bigger, plus they’ve had a slew of hits that everybody and they’re mother knows.
they did kill the mixtapes. on some ignant dumb ass shit.
but hits dont equal quality, or even tolerable music.
the dips are, well were, business men. not musicians.
Purple Haze was pretty damn good…and I might be alone, but i love me some On My Way to Church…’specially on a warm day, windows down, system knockin…ig’nant music is usually always good in the wheel…not ipod material
go make some beats ^
@550k flea: “parlayed into something bigger”? Do you mean bigger than mixtapes or bigger that what G-Unit did? 50 parlayed his into getting a deal with Interscope and selling millions. Dipset had NY buzzing, and def snatched up the ‘G-Unots’ around the rest of the country, but thats about it my man. 50’s ‘parlaying’ still bears fruit to this day. None of us even know where Cam is. Dipset murdered that 6/8 style though.
I got Freeky Zeeky – Big Brother Freestyle as my ringtone
“Global Status, Global Status…………………….Dipset!”
haha. that song is the shit
cmon petey, bless us with the auto-tune version of Eli
bowel movement at best

“hey der it’s me again”
When Cam’s quiet… be afraid.
Heads gon’ roll, watch.
Cam’s cookin up some delicious shit right now.
And Curtis got handled.
Get rid of Jim and Juelz and the dipset is serious.
@ IllMusician: It’s obvious that 50 made bigger moves, but DipSet made quite impressive moves of their own. They’ve sold a lot independently and made KOCH a household name when most rappers weren’t even fucking with the label. For their business moves I give them respect.
@DDMack: Quite true, but that’s the beauty of hiphop man; you can listen to The ROOTS one minute then throw on a DipSet mixtape the next. It’s all about balance my dude.
“I’m a businessman/I ain’t tryin’ to be lyrical” – Cam’ron from “Let Me Know”
I dont see how everybody says that 50 destroyed or damaged dipset. How?? By What?? When?? If you want the truth of the demise of the Dips look no further than MR.Giles himself. Cam was winning, then he started beefin with Jimmy, who in turn slept with the enemy. He was beefin with Jay , who in turn had his Lower East Side patna snuff em. And then he disappeared which made him irrelevant. (also he played himself by doing an interview on Snitching)

^^^^ CHECK THAT OUT!
Only thing I gotta say about the Dipset “movement” is:
“How could you mention Harlem and forget L?”
@ pate…good looking on that currensy
cosign tres.
when i need a dose of that ignant shit, i at least fuck with ignant dirt ass cats with skills… like UGKs ridin dirty. shit goes hard on an ignant summer day.
