I’m thinking Wayne went crazy on them reporters because he knew what was about to happen this week. You gotta realize Mixtape d.j.s and bootleggers alike have made a lot of money off of wayne. Probably none of them gave him money or even a thank you for all that free music he gave out last year.
This album is hot. You cant really hate. well rounded. diverse production. Album is solid. But I wondering wheres the Birdman collab, Mannie fresh beat, or Hotboy reunion so this may not be the total final version.

Some spaced out joints on there too. A lil self indulgent, but at least the autotune is kept to a minimum.

Coulda been way worse. I think all those leaks & mixtape throwaways definitely affected the final product. Some of those leaked joints should have made it to the album. Strangely enough, the R&B tinged joints are where Weezy comes of the best.
I don’t think anyone has listened to it enough to give their final verdict…we all have our built-in prejudices/biases…so some people are gonna automatically hate OR love it…
from what I’ve heard so far, i think it’s dope
his prolificness AND the leaks DO kinda affect the final product…
back in the day (before leaks), i think artists would record a shitload of tracks and pick & choose which ones would make the final cut
oh well, that’s just how the game goes nowadays

I still think it’s a dope album but with all the leaked music that I’ve heard over the past year, I know it could have been a classic album. It just doesn’t seem very focused or cohesive.

so he contributes to the widespread availability of his shit
if he could focus that work ethic and not make readily available what he creates, he wouldn’t have a reason to bitch…might be his team to blame too…look at Dre/Aftermath…no Detox leaks whatsoever…so there’s no excuse…I don’t think there’s anyone looking out for Weezy’s best interests right now…he’s probably got a crew of vultures and freeloaders

I think that’s the key. As many records as they’ve sold, Cash Money still seems like a rinky dink operation. No one seems to really care about Wayne or His legacy & even if the do, they are ill equipt to handle an artist on His level. If He had a real producer (i.e. Dre, Kanye) whose opinion He respected enough, to reign Him in & add some direction to His creativity, I think He’d have a couple of 5 mic caliber albums. But like You said, with His self-destructive behavior, I have an eerie feeling that Wayne will actually get to be mentioned alongside Big & Pac and all the other greats who passed way before their time.
