Well I had one of my external HDs eff up on me, so I did some research and recovery is expensive as heil, but I found this tip and the reason I’m sharing it with yall is because they said it might work on dead iPods and such, and I know a bunch of you guys had iPod issues..
The trick, they say, is to freeze it. Stick in in a Ziplock to keep moisture out, leave it in the freezer overnight, let it “thaw out,” and try it out. I’m doing this when I get home. Probably won’t work, but it’s just a brick right now, so it wouldn’t hurt to try. If you guys try it, let me know how it turns out.
