On a somber note, God bless the family of KL from Screwball. KL passed away from an asthma attack. Honestly, I couldn’t tell you much about his or the group’s bios, so I send you to Unkut (“A Salute To Kenny Lou of Screwball”) for what’s probably the most thorough rendition I’ve read.

I can tell you that Y2K was one of the better albums from its time IMO. Aggressive & pure, it’s one of those discs that could be put in a time capsule and, fifty years from now, used to set historical context.

And regardless if he or the album left a mark on your life, it left one on me. And for that, I give thanks.
