So, my mom put me on game the other day.
When I stopped by her house to get my free grub on, she was watching Law & Order, and told me that the man above was going to be playing Marvin Gaye in an upcoming biopic, called Sexual Healing.
For those of you who ain’t up on L&O like moms, the actor’s name is Jesse L. Martin. Aside from a fairly close resemblance, he’s apparently fit for the role, as he had a main role in the big-screen adaptation of Rent.
IMDB says the flick is due out in 2010, and will focus around the last three years of the troubled singer’s life.
Considering some of the outlandish stories circling his death, and the years leading up to it, this movie ought to be real interesting.

How corny is that? Out of all the Marvin classics, they gonna pick his most immitated, overly-used song that most people that don’t know about the man only know about. The should’ve called it Trouble Man of After the Dance.

as for jesse’s last season on the show…i read on hollywoodreporter that he’s going to replaced by my guy Anthony Anderson…and don’t sleep on dude. He held it down in Seasons 2 & 3 on The Shield.
