I admire Fif’s tenacity.
He saw his footing slipping so what did he do?
He cued up “Back Down” & got back on his grizzly, doing what got him where he is in the first place.
Minus the manufactured beef, he’s doing a pretty decent job @ garnering attention again for his music (two mixtapes in a two month span and, reportedly, a Gangsta Grillz on the way) and being creative. Yes, other rappers have employed websites & manipulated their Myspace. But with thisis50.com, he’s taken an active role in the content & using his starpower to bring in traffic & other artists.
All in all, he’s still the shrewd, hungry individual, still motivated not only by the power of the dollar but also driven by being @ the mountaintop as well.

Anyone who doubts Fif’s buisness acumen & understanding of the industry is slipping. The last three G-Unit mixtapes have been quality & the Gangsta Grillz/G-Unit collab should be the same. The way the industry is nowadays, conventional methods of album promotion no longer work. The onslaught of mixtapes/online videos have managed to generate interest for the forthcoming G-Unit album, all without the assistance of Interscope.You have to question whether He even needs Interscope/Aftermath/Shady at this point. Dudes got enough cake to generate just as much interest on an indie.
50 is a boss no doubt, co-sign on his business acumen Amp. I think 50 doesn’t even care about the dough as much anymore; what drives his hunger is being number one and people continuing to hold him in high regard. Fuck, he could come out on Koch right now and do big numbers! No disrespect to Koch because I love them (no homo), they always stick to there release dates! If Koch says an album from your favourite artist is dropping on the third then you better look for it on the first! LOL!!!

Only thing about 50 is these tapes are always good and they were for g-unit 1 – 10 or so, but then when 50 really started blowin up after “rich or die tryi” and everybody’s sister started gettin into fif, then he stopped even pittin bars. It was just line big breath line another big breath. 50′s at his top when spits verses not lines and also when he beats are either simple and kinda get you goin not just a gunshot in the background and yayo yelling g-unit at the most inappropriate time. I will ride g-units nuts again IF they make good music. Massacre and curtis were fuckin terrible CD’s but before that even the most underground cat couldnt help but love 50. When he was underground before “power of the dollar” every underground cat rode his tip, then he blew up ,switched it up, and sucked it up for a while.

1. can’t even hate on 50. all the buzz about thisis50.com made my 30yr old ass go sign up and get at them two mixtapes…which are better than i imagined they would be. i do get tired of his me aginst the world schtick, but to each its own.
2. good looking on the stray shots and that ‘breakfast club ep’. i didn’t even know dwele and elzhi was cooking something up.
3. anyone that’s d/l that dogg pound ep…let a nig know if it sucks or not. i dig kurupt but dogg chit was so ass that it hurt my core.

@ Boogie: Kanye outsold 50 in the U.S. but 50 sold more internationally. Overall though, “Graduation” was a more focused album than “Curtis” and I think even 50 knows that. I’m hoping that this new G-Unit album is as good as 50 promises it to be; the first one didn’t have any appearances by Tony Yayo so now that he’s present for this project I hope the unit can put out some heat, even though the first G-Unit album may be hard to top.

^ I thought it was dope from the gate. Sure, it’s not exactly “Get Rich Or Die Trying Part 2″ but there are some dope songs on “The Massacre”. Fif was successful in showing that He didn’t neccessarily need Dre & Em to make a good album (although “Guns Come Out” is a very dope Dre track).
50 Cent…you don’t have to think he’s dope, but if you don’t think he’s incredibly intelligent, you are either hating, prejudiced, or not paying attention…
i don’t get why everyone says he got destroyed in sales….like the man said he sold 700k on a dud first week…true he didn’t beat kanye, but no other rapper can’t top those numbers.

That joint is old. She won’t be doing any more of that. Her son is a little old to be having his mom getting more sextape fame. I think she’s being a little more selective with what she does in front of the camera nowadays (as if the footage captured was anything positive).
