The overriding sentiment on the West Coast – Cali weed is crazy.
One should only smoke the shit if planning a mind-clearing, flatline of a day.
A couple of days ago my friend said we were going to the weed spot and I thought it would be some dude’s clam-baked apartment full of dirty furniture and hydroponics. Not so much.
This state-approved pharmaceutical shop was cleaner than a dentist’s office. A cooler full of brownies to the right and, to the left, a jar full of coffee beans to clear the pallet. In the middle of the place, all of the product was on top of a glass counter and divided into two sections – the wake-up buds and the lay-down buds.
All you need is a doctor-prescribed Weed Card, and this too can be yours.
I love California.
But, alas, I don’t smoke. Anymore.
That being said, here are the joints that make me wish I did…

Highly underplayed. But if your only hit was a blatant weed anthem and your only hope for success was a terrible R. Kelley collab, you would suffer the relative obscurity Crucial Conflict did. Nonetheless, I feel high just listening to it.
Everyone needs a song that makes them want to get ignorant, and I’d say this one would suffice. Who among us hasn’t tried to rap along at the top of the second verse? (don’t lie…)
I didn’t buy any medication that day at the pharmacy. I just sniffed. But I often ask myself, “Self, why are you wasting time not smoking in California?” And though I’d like to have some insightful answer for you, I still don’t know what that would be.
For one, I need to get stuff done. For two, I need my money.

Just want to shed some light on medical buds. They make it flavored so people who actually need it are able to smoke it. It isn’t as strong so people who do actually need it can go on with there day to day routine and not get “couch locked.” The legality issues when it comes to meds is cool but other than that you’re fooling yourself. Unless you’re getting it from the new “store” that sprang up on the corner by the grower who wants to sell his shit legally for two months before getting closed down you are out of luck . Even some of the legit places are getting closed down day by day, shit was cool for a couple months but they put an end to that shit real quick. Other than that Cali’s “illegal” weed is second best behind BC, something about there soil or they be putting crack in the water they use or some shit haha, it’s so damn good.

I have a friend who is a daily smoker (has been for years) who would not use the ‘clinics’ if it were not just as good as what they could get elsewhere.
And they are all over the Bay (where all you need is a card). The person in question has even been pulled over a few times with it…
And has never once gone to jail or been fined.
