Squad up series is where lil wayne developed his style. I think being around emcee’s who young and hungary who were constantly battling will improve any rapper. But like most rappers they have no true intention of sharing the limelight for any long period of time. So therefore the squad up series is a great look at what wayne can do. His rap over the MYA beat is where the world started to see this dude really trying to get sharp with his wordplay.not sure which squad it’s on but that verse i classic.

The only reason we listened to the Sqad Up Mixtapes was because of Weezy. They are some shit alone.
