How many trends did Fab set around the late 90′s/early 2k?
Say you didn’t have at least succumb to one of the following – a Mitchell & Ness (or at least a Nike Swingman lol). A pinwheel. Drink a certain liquor after hearing him name-drop it. Painted your 1′s. Pants with gulls on the back.
For all his promise, I don’t think Fab will ever put out that one album that true followers want. The closest we may come is More Street Dreams. But as long as he keeps making a few mixtape appearances, dropping tracks like these, that shall suffice.

You’re right Gotty, Fab will never make an album that pleases his the street niggaz but his mixtapes are always on point. I’m still bangin’ that “Loso’s Way” double-disc mixtape from 2006. What up with Paul Cain? I haven’t heard him in a minute.

Y’all niggaz clowin Fab when you know you secretly bumped his music, quit frontin’ and hatin’!!! LOL!!! The only style or trend that I thought was cool that he came up with was the half white gold/half yellow gold jewellery. As far as fashion is concerned I’ve always followed GhostFace or Nas, throwwacks…I mean throwbacks were never cool where I lived and Air Force 1′s aren’t comfortable, only Airmax 90′s and Dunks on my feet.
If a aggin tells you he didn’t rock to @ least one Fab track, he’s frontin. Same thing as saying you never rocked to 50 or Ja. All three of those dudes were impossible to avoid @ one time.

the Fab Ja comparison couldnt be more apt. (they had that song together “Ride for this”) anyhow, even for the purist i claim to be at times, I did nod my head to his shit. Breathe gets honorable mention. A bunch of his mixtape joints and freestyles always got a peep minimum.
The albums I was always ambivalent about. Fab tries to please too many. and ends up seeming confused.

Fab was the man back in the day. Everyone had to mess with his joints at least once. From Nothin’ to Somethin’ will never compare to Ghetto Fabolous or Street Dreams. Hopefully he’ll go back to his roots or something b/c Fab aint just himself anymore.
